CS-Cart Plan Modification

To provide vendors with multiple options of commission to a plan, CS-Cart Plan Modification add-on is developed.

This Add-on allows the admin to create multiple options based on the number of products and commission as a “plan type” for a single Plan.

So, a vendor can select any of the available “plan type” for the respective plan as per his choice.

When a vendor wants to have an online store to sell his products, he must choose a vendor plan. Admin will create the vendor plans and offers a different kind of services to the vendor.

Vendor plans are the membership plans that a vendor will select to start selling his products on an online store.

Check a brief overview of the plugin –

• An admin can set multiple commission for a single Plan.
• Admin can assign any plan type to the vendor from the back end.
• A vendor can also change the commission for the current Plan.
• The Vendor can change the selected Commission in the Registration Form.

The installation of the module is just as simple as the installation of our other CS-Cart Add-Ons.

When you’ll download the “CS-Cart Plan Modification” add-on, you’ll get one zip files and the install.txt file.

Read it carefully and follow it.

Step 1: Navigate through Add-Ons->Developers->CS-Cart.

Here, click on the cog icon at the to right-hand side and choose manual installation option.

Now, a pop up will appear, upload the zip file for the module here and install it by tapping – Upload & Install button.

After installation of the add-on, you will find the “Plan Modification” in the list of the available add-on.

Let us first start by creating a vendor plan.

When a vendor plan is created, after that, under “Commission” tab the admin can modify that particular plan.

Commission:

So, the admin for a plan can add and edit the –

• Price
• Periodicity and
• Transaction fee

Restrictions:

Here, the admin will –

• Max Products – Set the maximum number of products a vendor can have on this plan. Leave empty to allow unlimited number of products.
• Revenue up to ($) – The maximum monthly revenue allowed for the vendors who use this plan. Leave this field empty to allow unlimited revenue.
• Vendor Microstore – A vendor can have his or her own microstore at a separate address like example.com/vendor/. A microstore only contains products of the vendor who owns this microstore. Also, search results in a vendor’s microstore only include products of this vendor.

Lastly, save the modifications.

Now, the admin can find the list of the plan type for multiple commission option on the vendor profile page. Here admin can assign the plan type to a vendor.

Before choosing a plan, the vendor can see the plan details as well.

When a vendor selects a plan, he needs to fill his various details to become a vendor.

Under the “plan” field, a vendor can view “plan type” in which various options are available for a vendor based on the number of products and commission.

A vendor can select any of the given options available in the “plan type” as per his choice.

In this way, this add-on provides the functionality of multiple commissions on a single plan for the vendors.

Lastly, the vendor can check his chosen plan as well under his account panel.
