WooCommerce Marketplace PayPal Adaptive Payment plugin will split the payment among seller and admin dynamically. This module will work accurately with PayPal Parallel and Chained payment method.

WordPress WooCommerce Marketplace PayPal Adaptive Plugin is an add-on of WordPress WooCommerce Multi Vendor Marketplace Plugin. To use this plugin you must have installed first WordPress WooCommerce Multi Vendor Marketplace Plugin.

The user can easily install the plugin after he has purchased it. The user will get a zip file which he has to upload in the add new plugins menu option in the WordPress admin panel. You will navigate through “Plugins >Add New” and click the “Add New” menu option as per the snapshot below.
After this, you will see an option on the top of your page that says “Upload Plugin”, click the option to upload the zip file.
By clicking on the “Upload Plugin” option, below that you will see a button “Choose File” click on the button to browse for the zip file as per the snapshot below.
After browsing the file, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.
Now when the plugin is installed correctly, you will see the success message and an option to activate the plugin. Hit “Activate Plugin” to activate the plugin.

How To Get Credentials for PayPal Adaptive Payments
1. Log in to your PayPal Business account by visiting the PayPal Website.
2. Open the “Profile and settings”.
3. Select the “Selling tools” section on the left panel. Find “API access” on the list of settings and click the “Update” link to the right of API access.
4. A new page will open. While on that page, click “Manage API credentials”.
5. Choose “Request API signature” and click on “Agree and Submit” to submit your request.
6. You will be able to see your API Username, API Password, and Signature by clicking the “Show” links next to them.
Paypal Adaptive App Submission Guidelines
Please consult with PayPal support for new app creation. App approval will be managed and moderated at the PayPal end, Webkul will not be responsible for app approval or moderation. If you have already created an app, you can use it with this module.
After the installation, the admin will configure the WooCommerce Marketplace PayPal Adaptive Plugin by navigating through “WooCommerce > Settings > Payments”.
Here the admin can enable the payment method and can configure the same by clicking “Manage”.
Let’s go through each of the settings for the module in the backend –
Enable/Disable – Admin can enable or disable the module from here.
Title – Admin can enter the title for the payment method that is visible at the checkout page.
Description – Enter the description which is visible at the checkout page.
Payment Mode – Select the payment mode as Chained or Parallel.
PayPal Email – Enter your PayPal Id which will be used to accept the payments.
PayPal Sandbox – Check this option to allow test payments.
PayPal Debug – Check this option to Enable logging.
Shipping Details – Check this option to send shipping details to PayPal instead of billing.
Address Override – Enable this option to prevent address information from being changed.
Receiver Email – Input your main receiver email for your PayPal account here. This is used to validate the IPN requests.
Invoice prefix – Enter the Prefix for the Invoice numbers.
Payment Action – Choose whether you want to Capture funds immediately or Authorize the payment only.
Page Style – Enter the name of the Page style you want to use.
PayPal Identity Token – Enter the PayPal Identity token that will allow payments to be verified without the need of PayPal IPN.
API User Name – Enter the API User-Name credentials from the PayPal.
API Password – Enter the API Password credentials from the PayPal.
API Signature – Enter the API Signature credentials from the PayPal.
Now click on “Save Changes” to save all the changes.
Seller end Workflow
Sellers will log in into their seller account panel and then go to the My Profile to enter the PayPal details.
Here the seller will enter his PayPal Id for receiving payments through the PayPal as shown in the below snapshot.
Now, when the customer adds the product to the cart and goes for the checkout, he will see the Adaptive PayPal payment method on the checkout page. Now, the customer can easily select the payment method and can click “Proceed to Adaptive PayPal” button to get redirected to the PayPal payment gateway to complete their payment for the product.
If the admin has set the payment mode as Chained then, after clicking the “Proceed to Adaptive PayPal” button, the customer will be redirected to the PayPal Payment gateway. Here the customer will input his PayPal credentials to log in first and then make the payment for the purchase.
After logging in the customer will click the “Pay” button to complete the purchase as shown below in the snapshot.
After completing the payment, the customer will be redirected back to the store page with an order confirmation as shown below.
In the case of Parallel Instant Payment mode, it can be seen the payment is split amongst the admin and the seller.
