User Guide for Odoo Website Sale Rental Enterprise

Installation

  1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the module’s zip file.
  2. Extract file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘website_sale_rental_enterprise’
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
  5. Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘website_sale_rental_enterprise
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

Workflow

1. After installing Odoo Website Sale Rental Enterprise, go to the Rental app in Odoo backend.

Navigate to Rental > Products > New, then enable the rental option by checking ‘Rental’ checkbox for the desired product.

2. In Rental Prices tab, set Minimum Rental Duration, configure the Rental Pricing, and add reservation details if needed.

3. Odoo Website Sale Rental Enterprise allows users to select a rental period after adding a product, and the total price is automatically calculated and displayed instantly on website.

4. Once the payment is complete, admin can manage rental order in the backend by navigating to Rental > Rental Orders and confirming the order.

5. Customers can track their rental product’s status in Rental Orders section.

6. Admins can validate the product pickup by selecting ‘Pickup’ in backend, which changes status to ‘Picked-Up’ on the website.

7. After the rental period ends, admin can validate return in  backend, updating order status to ‘Returned’ on the website.

8. If admin rejects a rental order, status will be updated to ‘Cancelled’, and the order will not appear in customer’s Rental Orders section.
