    Opencart Marketplace Seller Central Module provides a separate page for sellers to log in or signup from the sell tab. This page is completely customizable from the admin end. Here admin can create multiple signup steps for sellers and also create fields for each step. Further, the admin can also customize the color, font color, and background image of the page.

    The Opencart Marketplace Seller Central module is an add-on to the Opencart Marketplace module. You need to install the Marketplace module first to install this module.

    Note:

    1. This module supports all templates and themes including the Journal theme.

    2. Opencart Marketplace Seller Central module supports the Multi-Store feature of default Opencart.

    Installation of Opencart Marketplace Seller Central

    The installation of the Opencart Marketplace Seller Central module is easy. In the zip file, you will receive three folders namely admin, catalog, and ocmod. You just need to upload admin and catalog folders to the root directory of the website.

    Once you have uploaded the file then login to admin and go to Extensions> Extension installer and upload the sellercentral.ocmod.xml XML file. The XML file can be found in the ocmod folder.

    After uploading the XML file go to the Extensions > Modification and click on the refresh field.

    Also, after that in the Admin panel go to System -> Users -> Usergroup and edit ‘Administrator’ and select all for both Access and Modify Permission then save it.

    Module Translation

    Configuration of Opencart Marketplace Seller Central

    General Setting: After the module has been installed admin can configure the module to enable it. Admin can also create signup steps from here and assign registration fields to the step.

    Each signup step can contain a maximum of 6 fields and if a registration field is assigned to one step then it will not get assigned to any other step.

    Also, there will be a minimum of one signup step, and fields for the first step are fixed by default.

    To become a seller, here, just need to click on the sell tab as shown in the image below-

    Now, just click on the Sign-Up Here button to move toward the Seller Central Page

    Now from the seller’s central front end, the seller can see the option to sign up an account and follow the steps to sign-up.

    The sign-up form will be according to the sign-up step added by the admin.

    Now the admin can manage the custom tab from the back end. Here, the admin can enable or disable the custom tab status accordingly.

    The admin can enter the custom tab heading, video URL, and description for the video from the custom tab section. The admin can also add more custom tabs accordingly.

    There are two types of layouts available for this module. The admin can select the layout accordingly.

    Sections Settings:

    In the section setting, the admin can manage-

    • Featured Section
    • Sales Section
    • Testimonial Section

    Featured Section:

    Now, the admin can manage the featured section in the section setting. Here, the admin can enable or disable the featured block, enter the heading, and as well as a description for the featured section.

    Sales Section:

    In the sales section, the admin can enable or disable the status of the sales section for the front end. The admin can enter the heading and description for the sales section accordingly as shown in the image below (This section is available for the layout 1)-

    Testimonial Section:

    From the testimonial section, the admin can show the testimonial of the customer to the store.

    The admin can set up a call to action button at the bottom. The admin can enter the heading and description for the CTA (This section is available for the layout 1) as shown in the image below-

    Featured Products can be managed from the back end by the admin. To manage the featured products the admin can navigate to SellerCentral> Featured Section here, the admin can add, remove or edit the existing featured products accordingly.

    The admin can edit, add, and remove the featured section accordingly. Here, the admin can add the image icon, title, description, sort order, layout, and status of the featured section.

    Also, the carousel can be managed from the back end. To manage the carousel the admin can navigate to SellerCentral> Carousel Section

    Here, the admin can manage, add, remove, and edit the existing carousel accordingly.

    Testimonial Section:

    Testimonial setting can be managed from SellerCentral> Testimonials Section, here,  the admin can add, remove or edit the existing testimonial from the store accordingly.

    The admin can fill in the details for the testimonial, which include author name, author designation, author picture, comment, sort order, layout, and status.

    NavBar Menu List:

    The admin can add, delete or edit the existing navbar menu from the SellerCentral> Navbar Menu List

    The admin can edit the existing navbar menu by selecting and clicking on the edit button and editing the navbar menu.

    Here, the admin can fill in the details-

    Menu Name– The admin can enter the menu name that will show on the front of the navbar.

    Link- The admin will have to enter the URL for the menu

    Target- The admin can select the “Blank” if the admin wants to let the URL open in a new tab, or select “Parent” if the admin wants to let the URL open within the current tab.

    Layout- The admin can select the layout accordingly.

    Sort Order- The admin can select the order of the navigation accordingly

    Status- The admin can enable or disable the module from the backend.

    Seller Central page can be accessed from the selling page. To open the seller central page, click on the sell button as shown in the image below.

    Now the customer can click on the “Sign-Up Here” button under the Open Your Shop

    Thus, the customer will be redirected to the seller central page where the customer can fill in the details to become a seller-
