PayPal Transaction Method
In a Parallel Payment, a payment is sent to multiple receivers. Using this type of payment method buyers can see each seller with their amount.
In a chained payment, a payment is made to a primary receiver. The primary receiver keeps some of the payment and pays the rest to one or more secondary receivers. Using this type of payment method buyer can only see admin with the amount. All payment transactions process will be in the background.
Here admin can select that who will pay the transaction fee of Paypal.
When PayPal Transaction Method selects as Parallel :
In this transaction method, admin can choose the fee payer as “SENDER” or “EACHRECEIVER”.
When an admin selects “SENDER” as a fee payer then the transaction fee is paid by the sender of the amount. The transaction fee will add in the total amount of the sender.
When an admin selects “EACHRECEIVER” as a fee payer then yeah receiver of the amount pays the transaction fee. PayPal manages the distribution of fees.
When PayPal Transaction Method selected as Chained :
In this transaction method, admin can choose the fee payer as “PRIMARYRECEIVER” or “SECONDARYONLY”.
When an admin selects “PRIMARYRECEIVER” as a fee payer then the transaction fee is paid by the primary receiver of the amount.
When an admin selects “SECONDARYRONLY” as a fee payer then the transaction fee is paid by the secondary receiver of the amount. This method works when the products are of a single seller only.
Note: If there are multiple seller products in the order and the admin selects the transaction method is “Chained” and Fee Payer selected as “SECONDARYONLY” then this method works as “PRIMARYRECEIVER”.
Admin can set sandbox mode. Use Sandbox mode to test gateway servers to process the transaction.
