Is your seller going on vacation? but leaving your business in a middle can be something to worry about, if not planned in advance. Now with our module Odoo Marketplace Seller Vacation manage your marketplace seller vacation in advance and allow your sellers to manage their stores and products accordingly.
This module will display a message in your seller’s profile, seller’s shop and seller’s product page letting your buyers know that the seller of this product is on vacation. You can also add a customized message to your storefront and manage the display of products accordingly.

Note: This Module is dependent on Odoo Multi Vendor Marketplace, in order to use Odoo Marketplace Seller Vacation module you need to purchase this module also.
- A seller can set multiple vacations for particular intervals.
- The seller can also describe their vacation.
- Admin can easily manage seller vacation.
- A seller can disable “All his product” or “Add to cart” button for their products or make “Active all products” for sale during vacation.
- Admin can set default message which will be displayed on the seller profile, seller shop, and on seller product page when the seller will be on vacation.
After buying this app from our Webkul store you will get the link for downloading the zip file. Simply download it and extract then you will see the marketplace_seller_vacation folder, now you will have to copy this app folder inside your Odoo addons path.
Now simply follow these steps:
1. Go to settings menu and click on Activate the Developer mode.
2. Now go to apps menu and Click on ‘Update Modules List’.
3. Remove the app’s filter and search for the marketplace_seller_vacation key.
4. Now you will see the module then simply install it.
After installing you will be able to handle different functionality as mentioned in module’s workflow.
Let us check how this module will work
Admin can set default message which will be displayed on the seller profile, Seller shop and seller’s product page whenever a seller is on vacation.
To set default message you need to go to Seller Dashboard>>Settings>>Marketplace>>Miscellaneous settings and click to configure miscellaneous settings.
Inside the field Seller Vacation message, admin can set the default message which will be visible to your customer when the seller is on vacation.
Every seller can see a new tab visible under the profile of the respective seller from where he can define the date on which he will be on vacation.
By clicking on add an item button seller can create a new vacation request. Inside a vacation, request seller will define the start and end date of vacation most importantly what will be the action till the time he will be on vacation and description and after filling all the details he can click on the Request to approve button to send the approval request to admin.
A seller can select from available actions which will be implemented for the time period till the seller is on vacation. Actions during vacation are:
- Disable all product: None of the seller’s product will be visible on the website.
- Disable add to cart: This means all the product will be visible but add to cart button will be disabled.
- Active for sale: Buyers can purchase the sellers product even he is on vacation.
Now let us check how admin will manage his sellers’ vacation. Soon after installation of this module admin can see a new menu of Seller vacation inside Seller dashboard. Inside the menu seller, vacation admin can see every seller who has requested for the vacation. Correspondingly admin can approve/reject a sellers vacation request.
As soon as admin will approve/reject a seller vacation request the status of the request will be changed automatically. Also, an admin can create and edit a vacation request and assign it to a particular seller.
Here is the view of the Seller profile and Seller shop when the seller is on vacation and the action implemented is on “Disable all product”.
Seller Profile page and shop will appear like this when a seller is on vacation and action implemented is “Disable add to cart”.
When the action is selected to “Disable add to cart” then add to cart button will be disabled. In this case, a buyer will be able to see the product but will not be able to add them to the cart.
Here is the website view when all the product are allowed to be sold. Which means when the action Active all products are selected then all the product will be displayed in the seller profile and seller shop page.
It’s noteworthy that the default message and the date till which the seller will be on vacation will be displayed in the seller shop and seller profile page.
