    Magento Marketplace Paypal Parallel Express Checkout Payment

    Magento Marketplace Paypal Parallel Express Checkout Payment will split the payment among the multiple sellers and the admin dynamically. The admin will get the commission based on the sellers. The buyers will be able to select and make use of this payment method at the time of checkout.

    This module is an add-on of  Marketplace Multi-Vendor  Module. To use this module, you must have installed first Marketplace Multi Vendor Module.

    Important: This integration method is deprecated as of January 1, 2017. PayPal continues to support existing merchants using this method, but please be advised new features and enhancements will not be applied to these integrations. You can check it on PayPal here.

    Features

    • Admin can enable or disable MP Express Checkout payment.
    • Using this module add-on payment will be split between seller and admin.
    • Multiple sellers support found.
    • Admin will get the commission based on sellers.
    • Allow seller to do Full or Partial online refund.
    • Allow admin to do Full or Partial online refund.
    • Customers can make payment via PayPal account or Credit/Debit card as well.

    Installation

    Installation of the module is super easy you need to move the app folder into Magento root directory.

    After moving the folder flush the cache from Magento admin module. Under system > cache management.

    After those primary steps, you just need to configure the module.

    Language Translation

    After the module installation, you need to unzip the folder and click on src folder. Inside that folder, you will find app folder. Click on the app folder. And you will get locale and inside that, you will find the language folder in the English language as en_US.

    Now follow the same path and open the locale folder where you have installed the Magento. And go inside the locale folder and create a new folder. Set folder name with the language for which you want to translate your module content.

    Now edit the language CSV file and then upload it to your server inside the locale folder.

    Before uploading the CSV file, open and edit it with the translated keywords.

    Important Notes

     

    For getting credentials you need to login, using-

    Sandbox- https://www.sandbox.paypal.com 

     

    Then, navigate to Profile>Profile and Settings.On the Right panel, you could select My Selling Tools.

    Here, Click on Update in API Access, go for Set up PayPal API Credentials and permissions.

    Then, from NVP/Soap API integration, click on Manage API credentials and get the API Username, Password, and Signature.

     

    NOTE- Paypal has deprecated the creation of APP Ids, from 1st Dec 2017. Those  Sellers whose Account are not verified kindly contact Paypal support.

    Module Configuration

    After the successful installation, the admin can configure this module by navigating to System>Configuration>Sales>Payment Methods>MP Express Checkout Payment. On clicking the ‘MP Express Checkout Payment’ link, the following page will appear.

    Under ‘MP Express Checkout Payment’, the admin can:

    • Select the Sandbox mode as Yes(Testing Mode) or No(Production Mode).
    • Enabled/Disabled the MP Express Checkout Payment Method.
    • Feed the Merchant PayPal Id(Which will be used to send the payout to the sellers).
    • Enter the PayPal Application Id, PayPal API User Name, PayPal API Password and the PayPal API Signature.

    The admin can receive the App Id, Username, Password and Signature via his PayPal account.

    Seller Configuration

    The seller can configure his PayPal account details. For this the seller needs to login into his account and navigate to Seller Profile>Set PayPal Details.

    Under ‘PayPal Detail’, the seller will provide:

    • The PayPal Id, PayPal First Name, PayPal Last Name and the PayPal Merchant Account Id.

    The seller can receive the App Id, Username, Password and Signature via his PayPal account.

    Customer Frontend

    The customer can use this module to make a single payment for his order which includes products from different vendors/sellers. For this, the customer will add products of different vendors/sellers into his cart.

    The customer will click on ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button. This will redirect the customer to the page where the customers will provide the ‘Billing Information’, ‘Shipping Method’ and ‘Payment Information’.

    Under ‘Payment Information’ the customer will check ‘MP Express Checkout’ method. After clicking the ‘Continue’ button, the customer will redirect to a PayPal Payment Gateway page.

    Here, the customer will enter his PayPal login credentials to make a payment from his PayPal account.

    If the customer doesn’t have a PayPal Account, he can click on the ‘Create an Account’ link. This will enable the customer to make a payment via credit/debit card.

    After login, the customer will navigate to ‘Review your Information’ page. Here the customer can review his Shipping Address, Payment Methods and Contact Information details and will proceed to ‘Continue’.

    Then, the customer will navigate to ‘Review Order’. Here the customer can edit his cart and Shipping Method if want to. Else, the customer simply clicks on ‘Place Order’ button and will get a success message.

    The customer can also click on ‘Order Id’ link to view the order information.

    The following page will appear on clicking the Order Id link on the above success message.

    Also, the customer can check his transaction details from his PayPal Account.

    The admin can also check the transaction details. For this, the admin will navigate to Sales>Transactions. Then the following page will appear.

    Here, the admin can check the Transaction Status by clicking on the transaction whose transaction details you want to check.

     

    Refund

    Magento Marketplace PayPal Parallel Express Checkout Payment provides a convenient way to make an Online Refund to their customers. Both, the seller and the admin can easily make a Refund.

    Refund Via Seller

    For this, the seller will navigate to ‘My Order History’. The seller will click the Order for which he wants to make the refund and then click the Credit Memo’ option as per the image.


    Once the seller clicks on Credit Memo option, a page will open where the seller will find a ‘Refund’ and a ‘Refund Offline’ button. The seller clicks on the Refund button for making an online refund.

    After this, the seller will navigate to a view order page as per the image.

    ORDER DETAILSHere the seller will find a success message at the top. Also, the seller can view the refund details by clicking on the ‘Refund’ link. This will navigate the seller to a ‘Credit Memo List’ as per the image.

    CREDIT MEMO LIST The seller can click on the ‘View’ link to see the transaction details.

    Refund Via Admin

    For this, the admin will navigate to the Invoice page by navigating to Sales>Invoices. Here, the admin will click on view’ link as per the image.

    On clicking the ‘View’ link, the admin will redirect to a page where he will click on the ‘Credit Memo’ button to make a refund.

    When the admin clicks on ‘Credit Memo’ button, a page will open where the admin can see a ‘Refund’ and ‘Refund Offline’ button. Now, click on the Refund button for making an online refund.

    REFUND

     

    After this, the admin can see the transaction details of the Refund order by navigating to Sales>Transactions as per the image.

    NOTE: After the refund by admin, the buyer can check for the refund amount. Either the amount will be credited to his PayPal account or his credit/debit account as per the payment method he has opted.
