Odoo Marketplace Sub Accounts- Workload is one of the biggest problems that marketplace owners face while managing and operating. They have to perform all the managerial activities on their own, which is quite a hectic job.
They need a helping hand who can share their workload and make things in the marketplace more efficient and swift. In addition, only the admin or seller can assign roles and responsibilities.
We have the solution. You need Odoo marketplace sub accounts. It helps you assign the work to different users by creating sub-accounts as per their roles, responsibility, and proficiency. Further, this module enables the admin and sellers to allot desired access, manage, add, edit, and delete multiple sub-accounts.
Note: This module works simultaneously with the Odoo Multi-Vendor Marketplace Module so you need it as well. So, Odoo marketplace sub accounts work seamlessly.
FEATURES
Odoo Marketplace sub accounts offer the following features to its users:
- Enable or disable the ‘sub accounts’ for sellers.
- Create multiple sub-accounts by providing limited access.
- Both sellers and admin can create several sub-accounts and manage them.
- Main account can provide required access to sub-accounts.
- Increases efficiency by dividing work and boosts work speed.
- Admin can manage sub-accounts user activity.
- Admin can delete/edit sub-account, seller can only edit accounts
INSTALLATION
- Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
- Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘marketplace_sub_accounts’.
- Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
- Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
- Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
- In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘marketplace_sub_accounts’.
- You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.
WORKFLOW CONFIGURATION
After installation, configure the module in your system by the following steps:
1. Go to the ‘Settings’ and then go to ‘Marketplace.’
2. Then, tick the boxes as per requirement under ‘Auto Approval Settings’ and Click ‘Save’ to save the changes.
3. Now, open the menu on the top-left corner and click ‘Seller Dashboard’ to open it. And there click the ‘Seller/Vendors’ menu and choose ‘Sub Accounts.’
4. On the newly opened page, click the ‘Create’ button to create a sub-account. Also, here you can see the list of existing user accounts.
5. Next, fill in the details on the next page, choose ‘Marketplace Seller,’ assign ‘Job Roles,’ and click ‘Request.’
6. After you click the ‘Request’ button, the status will automatically change from ‘Draft’ to ‘Approved’ (only when you have already ticked the checkbox in the marketplace settings).
7. Once approved, you can see the created user at the bottom of the accounts list.
8. Lastly, go to ‘Seller Dashboard’ and see Pending, Approved, and Rejected orders and perform your responsibilities as assigned.
