Their mission is to re-enchant the lives of seniors who feel lonely, by emphasizing pleasure, humor and vitality.

All of their employees to talk to elderly people over the phone calls are recruited with rigor, going through four two-hour interviews and demonstrating essential human qualities.

In this case study, we will explore how AlloMamy drive business growth and build loyalty using Webkul’s extensions and PrestaShop Development Services.

PrestaShop Subscription Products

PrestaShop Subscription Products allows store owners to sell subscriptions and automatically capture recurring payments on a regular interval.

The admin can create subscription based services and set the frequency in terms of days, weeks, months or years.

Customers can subscribe to the service and will be charged at predefined intervals.

AlloMamy offers subscription based phone call services on their platform to the senior citizens. This is a kind of service that will be used on a recurring basis.

They wanted to offer a subscription feature on their website to foster a long-term and trustworthy relationship with their customer.

For this, they purchased our Subscription Products module.

Instead of buying the service and paying for it each time, the customers can subscribe it for weeks, months, or years. Also, they can pause, resume, update, or cancel their subscriptions as per need.

PrestaShop Stripe Recurring Payment Gateway

PrestaShop Stripe Recurring Payment Gateway allows customers to make payment for the subscriptions via secure and reliable Stripe Payment Gateway.

Accept secure recurring payments from major card brands including Mastercard, Visa, American Express, JCB, and Discover cards. Customers are automatically for the subscriptions at regular intervals.

They decided to purchase our PrestaShop Stripe Recurring Payment Gateway module.

In addition to accepting online payments via major debit and credit cards, Stripe supports a variety of payment options including Alipay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, etc.

Custom Requirements of Client

Allomamy had a few custom requirements for which they contacted us.

Custom Requirement # 1

PrestaShop Subscription Products module allows the admin to set discount on subscription frequency. For example, the admin set 20% discount on weekly subscription frequency.

They wanted additional feature that lets them set the number of frequencies for which the customer will receive discount.

Suppose, they have set 20 discount for first three frequencies of weekly subscription.

Now, the customers will get discount for first three weeks and after that they will be charged original price of a product.

Custom Requirement # 2

If a customer has added a subscription product to the cart, then he won’t be able to apply a discount voucher to the cart.

Custom Requirement # 3

Display add to cart button on product listing pages for products on which the subscription is enabled.

Custom Requirement # 4

Provide an option to select first delivery date.

Our team understood the client’s requirements and successfully implement the changes in the module.
