User Guide for Odoo Shippit Shipping Integration 

Shippit Shipping Integration connects Odoo with Shippit to fetch live courier rates, create shipments, print labels, cancel shipments, and generate tracking reference numbers.

It helps you manage courier tasks in one place. You do not need to open different courier websites to ship orders.

It also supports multi-carrier shipping through one Shippit connection. This saves time and reduces daily shipping errors.

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘shippit_delivery_carrier’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘shippit_delivery_carrier’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.

Configuration of Odoo Shippit Shipping Integration 

1. Open Inventory → Configuration → Shipping Methods and create a new delivery carrier for Shippit. Add your Shippit API credentials and select the correct environment.

2. Open the Extra tab inside the Shippit delivery method.

Set packaging type, default weight, product UoM, API UoM, and enable void shipment if needed.

3. Open a sales order and click Add Shipping Method.Choose Shippit and click Get Rate to view live courier prices with service level and delivery time.

4. Open the delivery order and click Put in Pack to add package information. Enter package weight and dimensions, then click Save to apply Shippit Custom Package details.

5. After confirming the sales order, open the generated Delivery Order to start the shipment process.
Here you can review products, click Put in Pack, or proceed to fetch Shippit rates.

6. Once the shipment is created, open the Additional Info tab in the delivery order. Here you can see the Shippit carrier, tracking reference number, service level, price, and label generation status.

7. After the shipment is created, scroll down to the Chatter section of the delivery order. Here you can download the generated shipping label PDF and view the shipment activity logs.

8. To cancel the shipment, click the Cancel button on the delivery order. A confirmation pop-up will appear; click OK to send the cancellation request to Shippit.

9. After confirming the cancellation, Shippit Shipping Integration updates the delivery order automatically. You can see the “Shipment has been canceled” message along with all related activity logs in the Chatter section.
