    WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Email Reminder

    WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Email Reminder helps the store owner to let their customers recover the Abandoned cart by sending them cart recovery email reminders. The admin can send email reminders to the customers who were unable to complete the checkout.

    In an e-commerce business, there are many strategies for Customer acquisition. Sometimes the customers add the products to their cart then leave the website due to some reason, it becomes difficult for the admin to track those customers.

    Using this plugin, the admin can easily track those customers who tend to abandon their cart due to some reason, send them cart recovery email reminders, even the admin can send them SMS along with the emails.

    Installation –

    The user will get a zip file which he has to upload in the “Add New” menu option in the WordPress admin panel.

    For this, login to WordPress Admin Panel and then Under the Dashboard, hover your mouse over the “Plugins” menu option which brings out a Sub-Menu and then select the “Add New” option.

    Thereafter, you will see an option on the top of your page that is “Upload Plugin”, Now clicks the option to upload the zip file.

    By clicking on the “Upload Plugin” option, below that you will see a button “Choose File” click on the button to browse for the zip file as per the snapshot below.

    After browsing the file, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.

    Now when the plugin is installed correctly, then you will see the success message and an option to activate the plugin. Henceforth now, click on “Activate Plugin” to activate the installed plugin.

    Admin End Configuration –

    After the successful installation of the plugin, the admin can manage the plugin from the admin panel easily.

    Here, the admin can manage the Setting, Emails, and Customers.

    Manage Setting –

    From the Setting tab, the customer can manage the setting of the plugin as shown in the image below –

    Here, the admin can –

    Enable/ Disable Abandoned Cart: The admin can enable or disable the plugin as per their needs.

    Minutes for Abandoned Cart: The admin can decide the minutes here. If the customer left the product into the cart and left the website then after a particular minute as decided by the admin, the cart of the customer will be under the abandoned cart.

    Days For Abandoned Cart: The admin can decide the first day to send an email reminder to the customer.

    Follow Up For Second Mail: The admin can decide the days for the second follow up email. After these days Second follow up email will be sent to the customer.

    Follow Up For Third Mail: The admin can enter the days after which a third follow up email will be sent to the customer.

    Manage Cron –

    The admin can manage the cron from here. Thereafter, the admin can enter the time for scheduling the cron in the format of HH:MM:SS as shown in the image below –

    Manage Email –

    The admin can Enable or Disable the automatic setting under Email tab.

    Here, the admin can manage the –

    Allow Auto Email Customer – Here, the admin can Enable or Disable the auto email reminder to the customers.

    Admin Name – The admin can decide the Admin Name using which the email will be sent to the customers.

    Admin Email Id – The admin can decide the Admin Email Id here. It will be used to send email to the customers.

    Abandoned Cart Mail Content – The admin can enter the Abandoned Cart Mail Content for the three abandoned cart templates and then save the changes.

    NOTEThe admin can also add the link to the custom mail content. Now when a customer will receive the email, the customer can also click on the link attached in the email content and will redirect to the link clicked.

    Manage Twilio –

    NOTE The admin will have to run the command to install Twilio via the composer. Folder path example – cd /home/installation/folder1/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-abandoned-cart

    Command - composer install

    The admin can manage the Twilio setting here. After configuration of the Twilio SMS Setting, SMS will also be sent to the customers automatically along with the email.

    Here, the admin can enter the –

    Account SID – The admin can enter the Account SID from the twilio.

    Auth Token – The admin can enter the Auth Token from the twilio.

    Phone Number with country code – The admin will enter the Phone Number here.

    How to Get Twilio Credential –

    The admin can visit the twilio website then Signup for the twilio account. Thereafter, the admin will sign up, to receive the twilio credentials.

    Further, the admin shall use these credentials to configure the plugin.

    Thereafter, on clicking the Sign-up button, it redirects to the sign-up page where you can fill in the details so as to create an account on twilio.

    This way, you will receive the twilio credentials.

    Once the user submits the sign-up details and completes the sign-up process, the admin can check Twilio credentials under Console Dashboard as shown in the image below.

    On receiving the credentials, the admin can complete the plugin configuration with Twilio SMS provider.

    Emails –

    From the email menu in the admin dashboard, the admin can view all the emails sent to customers for their abandoned cart as shown in the image below –

    The admin can view the Sender email, Receiver email, Sent Date, and the Mode of the email sent.

    Also, the admin can select the multiple emails and then delete the history one by one or in bulk.

    Customers –

    Under the Customers tab, the admin can view the list of the customers who tend to abandon the cart.

    Also, the admin can view a customer’s email id, username, when the customer abandons the cart, when was the last email sent to the customer, and the number of the items which the customer abandons in the cart as shown in the image below.

    Now the admin can click on the customer to view the abandoned cart customer details. Here, the admin can also see the email sent to the customer already.

    Here, the admin can view the details of the customer who abandons the cart.

    The admin can see the Name of the product, Product ID, Product SKU, Quantity of the Product, and the Price of the product.

    Also, the admin can also see the Customer details as shown in the image above.

    The admin can also send the email to the chosen customer manually. The admin can click on the Send Mail button to send the mail.

    Dashboard –

    From the Dashboard tab, the admin can view the report of the Abandoned Cart. The admin can view the Weekly report, Monthly report, and by Date.

    The admin can view the abandoned cart chart by selecting the start date and end date.
