    Warehouse Management For Shopify- Workflow

    Running a Successful E-Commerce business is not easy as it comes with the hassle of managing the stocks in the warehouse & the hassle double-fold when you’re operating a business in multiple locations as businesses now have the requirement to manage Multiple warehouse(s) to cop-up from the pressure of fast-Delivery. Warehouse Management is much needed here.

    But Managing Multiple Warehouse(s) is not an easy task. It comes with the headache to manage all day-to-day warehouse operations.

    Then you’ve landed on the right solution. We’re soon launching the ” Webkul Warehouse Management” plugin which merchants can install on their Shopify store & run their warehouse operations smoothly.

    Now, Let’s quickly have look at the Installation process & Workflow :

    INSTALLATION

    To install the Webkul Warehouse Management app, Please visit this “Landing page” & here enter your store URL & hit the “Install” button.

    Then Plans listing will open where you can choose any plan as per your requirements.

    The installation of the app is complete after we select the plan.

    The warehouse management app comes with free 7-days free trial. Post Trial days, The app becomes chargeable.

    DASHBOARD

    Now, We redirect to the “Dashboard” of the warehouse management app.

    Check a few quick instructions you need to follow like Add warehouses, Importing Products and Orders:

    Once we complete all the listed instructions,

    We can check the dedicated dashboard to view the statistics of the Warehouse operations like Recent upcoming fulfilments, Recent Upcoming Stocks, etc.

    WAREHOUSES

    Here Admin can view the Warehouse listing & further enable/disable/delete/edit/view the warehouse.

    Start adding warehouses via “Warehouse” section of the app.

    Here click “Add-new”:

    Now, “Add warehouse” form will open. Here fill-up all the necessary details like warehouse name, Address, Choose Your Shopify store’s location which you would like to connect with the warehouse & So-on:

    Note: At a single Shopify location, We can add multiple warehouses. For example: Let’s say, On Shopify, We have 2 locations: L1 & L2

    Then we can create Multiple warehouses on the L1 location ( i.e W1, W2, W3) & Similarly create Multiple warehouses on the L2 location( W4, W5, W6) via the ” Webkul Warehouse Management” app.

    Please Note: By default 1st warehouse which we have created becomes default on Shopify location i.e On L1 location W1 warehouse becomes the default.

    Similarly: On L2 location: W2 warehouse becomes the default.

    LOCATIONS

    Here, Admin can view the list of his/her Shopify store locations & These locations gets auto-synced as soon as the merchant installs the warehouse plugin/app in their store.

    Also, Admin can view all the attached warehouse’s list with the respective Shopify locations.

    WANT TO CHANGE DEFAULT WAREHOUSE ON SHOPIFY’S LOCATION?

    As explained above, We can create Multiple warehouses for a single shopify location & the first created warehouse become as default warehouse at that respective shopify’s location.

    However, If Admin want, they can change the default warehouse on shopify’s location. But how?

    See below steps for this:

    Go to Locations ->> Click on “View details” tab in front of any location ->> Change “Default warehouse” ->> Save

    PRODUCTS

    To import the products in warehouse management app, Please make sure that, You have added warehouses from the “Warehouses” section of the app as it is the mandatory step.

    Then start importing the products from “Products ->> Import products” tab. Refer:

    Note: Bydefault products will be imported at the default warehouse which is connected to Product’s respective Shopify location .

    ORDERS

    Admin can import the existing orders in the warehouse management app.

    Important Point to be noted: Make sure to import all the associated products first & then start importing the orders. All the new orders will be imported in the app automatically.

    Now admin can start fulfilling the orders. While fulfilling the orders, Admin can choose the warehouse & accordingly, The product quantity will be reduced from the respective warehouse.
