A2Z MIGRATIONS: “Migrating Store Resources Across Platforms”

Firstly, you need to install the app to your Shopify store and initialize the process of store migration.

STEP 1: Configure Source Store.

The first & foremost step is to add or select a source store whose data needs to be migrated to the target store.
The Source store is your current store you want to migrate from.

NOTE:- The Target store will always be a Shopify Store.

Here, you can either add a new source store or if added, you can select a source store from the previously connected stores.

ADD STORE
You can add a new store as a source store. Just click the Add Store button and enter the required details to connect your store such as hostname, consumer key, consumer secret.

Entering the details, you can either Select the added Store or Select & Save the added store.

Select Store: Choosing this, You will be using the store credentials in the current checkout.
Also, Select & Save Store: This will let you save the store credentials for current as well as future use.

In Order to get the API keys i.e. Consumer Key and Consumer Secret, you need to login to your WordPress account and visit the WooCommerce store.

From there, you will get the path to generate the API keys.

Log in to WordPress>>Go to WooCommerce Settings>>Advanced>>REST API>>Add Key>>Click on Generate API Key>>From here, you can get the API Keys.

SELECT FROM THE PREVIOUSLY ADDED STORES

You can directly select a previously added store as a source store for migrating it to your store.

Now comes the process of Preparing Data!

STEP 2: Preparing Data

Select resources from your source store you would like to migrate (products, customers, orders, etc)

After selecting the data, you can proceed to select your target Shopify store and start the process of migration.

You are done with the selection of entities of your source store you want to migrate. Now, proceed to select a target store to which you want to migrate these data.

The app comes with the proper pricing structure based on which the charges will be applied as per the entities you select to migrate from your source store to your target store.

To migrate products:
If you migrate more than 1000 products, $0.001 per product will be charged.
If you migrate more than 500 products, $0.025 per product will be charged.
and if you migrate more than 100 products, $0.05 per product will be charged.
If you migrate more than 10 products, $0.1 per product will be charged.
else free migrations.

To migrate customers:
If you migrate more than 1000 customers, you will get charged $0.001 per customer.
If you migrate more than 500 customers, you will get charged $0.025 per customer.
and if you migrate more than 100 customers, you will get charged $0.05 per customer.
If you migrate more than 10 customers, you will get charged $0.1 per customer.
else free migrations.

To migrate orders
If you migrate more than 1000 orders, you will get charged $0.002 per order.
If you migrate more than 500 orders, you will get charged $0.05 per order.
and if you migrate more than 100 orders, you will get charged $0.1 per order.
If you migrate more than 10 orders, you will get charged $0.2 per order.
else free migrations.

Target Store

Your current Shopify store to which the app is installed will be selected as your target store.

Clicking the Dashboard button will redirect you to the dashboard. There, you will be asked to confirm the process of migrating the selected store to Shopify.

Now, continue with store migration and confirm the payment.

Confirming it, you need to approve the charges to start the migration process as per the Shopify payment.

Once your store details will get processed, you will get the migration process done and thus, proceed to checkout.

Step 3: Proceed with Payment

The charges appear here is based on the no of various entities you choose.

Once the customer approves the charges, the migration starts.

Similarly, if Big Commerce store is your source store and want to migrate all the data to Shopify store then, this can be achieved in one go.

STEP 1: Configure Source Store.

Firstly, add or select a source store whose data needs to be migrated to the target store. Here, the Source store is your Big Commerce store you want to migrate from.

Here, you can either add a new source store or if added, you can select a source store from the previously connected stores.

STEP 2: Preparing Data

Select resources from your Big Commerce store you would like to migrate (products, customers, orders, etc). After selecting the data, you can proceed to select your target Shopify store and start the process of migration.

Step 3: Proceed with Payment

Now, you need to approve the charges to start the migration process as per the Shopify payment. Once your store details will get processed, you will get the migration process done and thus, proceed to checkout.

The charges appear here is based on the no of various entities you choose.
