With the Multivendor Marketplace, you can convert your store into a thriving marketplace where multiple sellers can register or create seller account and upload their products.
In this app, sellers or vendors can either create their own accounts on the store or be added by the admin/store owner, who can set up their accounts.
To start working as a seller, the seller must complete the onboarding process after creating an account.
There are certain steps that the seller needs to follow :
- Sign up to the Seller Account.
- If the Seller has signup then wait for account approval from the Admin.
- Once approved, the seller has to complete the onboarding process.
- Then the seller can start uploading the products.
- Products also need to be approved by the Admin.
- Once approved, the products will be available on the Shopify Store.
- The seller needs to add the payment details to which he wishes to receive the order payments.
- The seller can contact the Admin in case of an issue.
Seller Signup
To create an account, the seller needs to register by clicking the “Join Now” button on the seller dashboard.
Then seller has to fill the required details and create their account.
Seller Onboarding Process
After creating an account, the seller has to complete the onboarding process. First choose the product collection and save.
After selecting the product collection, the seller needs to complete their KYC details. The store name and address will be automatically filled in based on the previously provided information.
However, the seller has the option to update their email address and mobile number.
Then Add shipping details like Shipping method, range type, country, state, and sipping amount and then save.
After adding the shipping details the seller needs to add the primary location details.
If the admin enables the hyperlocal marketplace feature in their store, the seller only needs to provide the address.
Details such as city, country, and zip code will be automatically filled in once the seller enters the address.
After completing the onboarding process, this is the view of the seller dashboard once the seller has completed the process.
The seller has to complete and save the required details.
After registering as a seller, sellers can easily list and sell their products, and manage their orders, accounts, and payments.
Other users can browse and purchase these items, fostering a dynamic marketplace that boosts community interaction, engagement, and sales.
