The search option in the app works in two format-
- Voice search- Through this option, the app user just needs to speak a keyword. A relevant set of results would be fetched and displayed.
- Search by typing Keywords- In this case, the app user needs to type the keyword(s) which will display the result required.
Both the searches make the task of finding a product easy thus conserving the time of app user.
Those products which the customer wishes to buy in near future are displayed in this section. It avoids the effort of searching the product in the whole app again and again.
The cart contains all the products which user wishes to buy immediately. It can be said something similar to the shopping bag on a retail physical store. The customer keeps on adding the products which they want to purchase in a bag.
Left Navigation Drawer
The left navigation drawer is enriched with details that are visible to both ‘logged in‘ as well as ‘guest customers‘. It mainly comprises of-
- All Categories- This section has a list of categories which are associated with sub-categories or products.
- Seller Page-This section shows information about the longtime sellers & the latest products that have been added to the Marketplace.
- Language- The app user can change the language as per the requirement for making the app more familiar for the users.
- Currency- The app user can select among multiple currencies type.
This is the most important and beneficial feature for the Mobikul Opencart Marketplace Mobile Application. This feature displays the list of seller present in the marketplace.
Here a customer can check the profile of the seller or can go through the products listed to add them to his wish list or add them to cart for purchase.
On clicking a seller the customer can easily view the seller profile. All the information regarding the seller will be displayed on the profile page.
In this section we have all the details about the Seller like Seller Name, Average rating, Contact us, Profile details, About shop and the collection of his products.
Here customers can write reviews & ratings about the seller. If there are any product reviews they will be displayed on the seller profile page. Seller location is also displayed using Google maps.
The app has got a very interactive feature for the banner slider to display information in an attractive way. The admin can add any information related to new arrivals, offers, and other details for advertising.
This section of the app will contain categories in a carousel format which are linked with sub-categories. The app users can easily click on one of the categories to open up a category page. From their, they can click on a category to open up collection page.
This section contains a list of exclusive products that admin has showcased. They can be bought from the very home screen.
This section contains all the new arrivals of the store. These new arrivals can be configured by the admin end setting. A date range is a mentioned in the product edit page in order to make them display here.
Browse By Brand
This section gives the app user the ability to shop for products according to brands. The brands here are displayed in the form of cells.
This tab will open up to a list of categories and sub-categories, by clicking the sub-category the app user will re-directed towards a list of products(default Opencart products- Simple and Downloadable Products).
The customer can even sort the category result by many sorting options provided by the Opencart. They can also opt for grid and list view of the sub-category pages. That means, all the categories (Root category with their Sub- Categories) and all the products will be displayed on this app to the customers.
In the category page, the customer can see Main Category and their respective sub-categories. The customer can sort the category result by many sorting options provided by the Opencart. They can also opt for grid and list view of the sub-category pages. In the sub-category page, the customer can see various products with options like
- Add to cart
- Add to Wishlist
In the product page, the customer can see the product image, description, specification, reviews with quantity box and Add to cart button.
This tab is meant to benefit both customer and store owner, they are the messages that pops-up on the application users screen. They are said to more effective than any other mode of communication like mail or messages as they can end up in the spam section.
The app users can click on the tab to view information related to offers, new arrivals, exclusive collections etc.
Become a seller
This feature permits a customer in order to create a seller account at the time of sign up or registration process. As customer come to shop on the marketplace, they can become a seller and sell on the marketplace as well.

The app user can click on the Profile tab to view the profile related detail. For that, the user must first sign-in the app through a registered account id.

The Address book section will contain a list of addresses of the customer. In addition, it has the facility to edit and delete the existing address and add a new address.
The dashboard section is for the customer data which includes-
- My Address- This will contain all the addresses of the customer which can be deleted or edited from here.
- My Orders-List of all orders placed by the customer along with the details.
Account Information and Change Password
In this section, the customer can see the account details- Email Address, First and last name, Telephone number, and Fax number.
The account user can even change the password of there account from this section.
This section contains all the downable products purchased by the app user from the store. However, if we don’t have any downloadable product then this section will be like this as in the below screenshot.
This section shows the total reward points in the customer account along with the description for which the reward points are being given to them. The rewards points are given against any purchase or the first service availed, or as defined by the admin.
This section contains the detail of amount received from the rewards earned. It gives the detail of the transaction that is the amount received and amount reduced. It also shows the total net balance left after reduction and addition.
This is essential and most beneficial features for the seller that allows adding product through mobile at a time. The admin can add the product data like model no, Images of product, general information, links and can apply offers & discount.
In this tab, you can add the basic information of product like product name, description of the product, Meta tag title and Meta tag description, Meta tag keywords (use to tell search engines and visitors about the product information).
Use this section to add the product model number, Stock keeping unit(SKU), Universal product code(UPC), Internation article code(EAN) and Japanese Article Number(JAN) and etc.
- Categrory : Under Links tab, click Add Category button and then select the categories according to the product.
- Filter: Use filter product option to refine product search in your store.
- Downloads : Seller can add their Downloadable items using this field. Downloadable products can be Delete and edit using Marketplace Downloads.
- Related Products: Here you can add the related product which is available in your store.
Vendor can add the checkbox, date, date & time, delivery date or many much option similar below screenshot.
This field allows to add the product image to attract the new customer and helps to explain product looks.
This section contains the list of the added product along with the complete information like quantity, price, status, model no, number of sold product etc. and also enables the admin to edit and delete the product from the list.
This section displays the seller dashboard which has information about the Total Orders placed, Total Sales done, Total Buyers for the seller, Sales Analytics showing a graph for orders vs customers, and Latest orders that have been placed for the seller’s product.
The seller can select view more option on total orders to see the complete list of orders placed by customers. The seller can filter the search results for orders by order id, date added, order status & name of the customer.
The seller can easily check their orders by using this mobile application as this will give an area in the seller panel to view and manage their orders in a very efficient way.
This section has a list of all the orders that have been placed by the different customers. The seller can view any order and can see different information like Order id, Shipping address, Payment method used, description about the Item ordered and the Order status with the date.
The seller can add comments to their order and can send it to the customer or the admin. The seller can also “Add History” for an order if the history exists for that order. The seller can filter the order list by Order Id, Date Added, Order Status, & Customer name.
The app gives the facility to the customer to checkout in few steps through one-page checkout. The customer can easily add the product to cart, then click on proceed. After which the customer can select billing and shipping address as per choice.
They can then select the desired Shipping method and payment method. Finally, they can confirm the order and receive a confirmation message.
