INTRODUCTION

Add reviews to increase sales with the Odoo POS Customer Review Screen!

One of the drawbacks of POS is the feedback system. Due to this, customers can’t review their shopping experience. But what if I tell you that we have solved the problem?

Odoo POS Customer Review Screen permits you to add a customer-facing feedback screen for your Odoo POS. Moreover, this screen works with your main POS Shop Screen and displays a Feedback and ratings form to the customer once the order is validated.

Customers can give feedback and rate the store shopping experience using the additional screen. Also, you can project the review screen on multiple displays without an actual physical connection to the Odoo POS.

If you run multiple POS Shops, each can be configured to have its independent Review Screen.

NOTE: Odoo POS Customer Review Screen Module works in conjunction with the following module:

First, you must install this module in your system for the Odoo POS Customer Review Screen module to work correctly.

Let’s look at the concise feature list of the Odoo POS Customer Review Screen.

1. Add a customer-facing rating screen to your Odoo POS.
2. The review screen module auto-sync the POS shop and Customer Review Screen.
3. When the POS user validates an order, the module automatically displays the review form to the customer on the Review Screen.
4. The review screen refreshes after recording the feedback or when timed out.
5. Choose the Review Screen time-out interval. 
6. Each POS shop in Odoo can display its independent Review Screen.
7. The customer review screen of each POS works independently of the other.
8. You can also customize the POS Customer Review Screen UI.
9. You can view all the feedback and ratings in the Odoo backend.
10. Show the Same Review Screen On Multiple Displays.
11. These displays of the same review screen are not independent of each other.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘pos_customer_review_screen.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘pos_customer_review_screen.’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Let’s configure the Odoo POS Customer Review Screen.

CONFIGURE THE POS SCREEN

1. Once installed, go to ‘Point of Sales> POS Customer Screen> POS Screen Configuration> Create.’

NOTE: You can only configure one review screen for each POS Shop.

2. On the new page, enter the IP address, POS Config (the shop to use), welcome screen, heading, subheading, and body content. Also, the ‘Go To Customer Screen’ will open the customer screen in a new tab once you are done with the customer review screen configuration.

Or you can copy the ‘Custom Display URL’ and paste it on any browser on any display screen to launch the customer screen.

You can also add the ‘Promotional Picture’ for Customer Review Welcome Screen.

3. To customize the POS Review Screen, go to ‘POS Review Screen Configuration.’

• Enable/Disable the ‘Auto Show Review Screen on Validate’ to show the review screen automatically on validation.
• Set the ‘Review Screen Reset Time (in Seconds).’
• Enable/disable the ‘Show Comments Box’ on the Rating screen.
• Enable or disable the ‘Show Review Button on Receipt Screen.’
• ‘Upload Your File’ button to add the banner image.
• And choose the ‘Type of Review Icons.’

CUSTOMER REVIEW SCREEN

4. When the Customer Review Screen starts, the welcome screen will appear with the configured heading, subheading, body content, and promotional image.

5. In the Odoo POS, place an order for products and validate it. On the POS receipt page, hit the ‘Reload Review Form’ button to reload the review form screen.

6. This will show the review form on the customer screen. Give ratings and enter feedback. Once done, click the ‘Submit’ button.

7. In the Odoo backend, you can view all the reviews by going to the ‘Point of Sale> POS Customer Screen> POS Reviews’ to see all the reviews.

8. On clicking any review, you can view all its details with the comment (if enabled from the backend while configuring the review screen).
