    Odoo POS Customer Review Screen

    INTRODUCTION

    Introducing a Customer-Facing feedback screen for your Odoo POS. The screen works along with your main POS Shop Screen and displays a Feedback and ratings form to the customer once the order is validated.

    The customer can give his/her feedback and rate the store shopping experience using the additional screen.

    You can project the review screen on multiple displays without the need for any actual physical connection to the Odoo POS.

    If you run multiple POS Shops, each can be configured to have its own independent Review Screen.

    • Display Secondary Review Screen In Odoo POS Screen. Add a customer-facing Rating Screen to your Odoo POS Shop.
    • Auto-Sync POS Shop screen and Customer Review Screen.
    • Validating the POS Order automatically displays the review form to the customer on the Review Screen.
    • The screen refreshes after recording the feedback or when timed-out.
    • Choose the Review Screen time-out interval. 
    • Each POS shop in Odoo can display its independent Review Screen.

    INSTALLATION

    1.) Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.

    2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘pos_customer_review_screen.

    3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.

    4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.

    5.) Then, open on the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.

    6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘pos_customer_review_screen.

    7.) You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

    WORKFLOW

    Configure the POS Screen

    1.) To launch the POS Screen on a display monitor, you first need to configure the Screen. Go to POS >> POS Screen >> Configuration >> Create.
    (Note: Only one Configuration can be set for each POS Shop.)

    2.) Here choose the IP of POS Box for which you use to launch the POS Screen.

    3.) Choose the POS Shop with which you want to sync the POS Review Screen. Each POS Shop can have only one configuration.

    4.) Now, Under Customer DIsplay URL, copy the given and paste it on any browser on any display screen to launch the customer screen.

    5.) Alternatively, click on the name of the POS shop. Then click on ‘Go To Customer Screen’.

    Customize the Welcome Screen

    7.) When Review Screen starts, the welcome screen appears.

    8.) Customize the content and appearance of the welcome screen under ‘POS Welcome Screen Configuration’

    Customize the Review Screen

    9.) To customize the Review Screen, go to POS Review Screen Configuration’.

    • Enable/Disable auto-launch of Review Screen after POS order validation.
    • Show/Hide Comments box on Ratings Form.
    • Other settings such as Banner image, ratings icons, etc.

    Working With the Screen

    10.) First, run the POS Shop session to start the Screen.

    11.) Use the Customer URL to launch the screen.

    12.) The welcome screen is displayed while the POS User places the order.

    13.) Click on Validate button in orders to automatically launch the review screen (if enabled from backend)

    14.) Or, manually launch the review screen with a button (if settings are disabled).

    15.) Ask the customer to enter the feedback and ratings.

    16.) You can also reload the Screen if it times out.

    17.) The customer feedback is saved in the Odoo backend.

    18.) Click on the record to see all the details.
