    Mail Configuration In ODOO(Part 1 )

    Well  email integration  is among the lucrative  feature provided by Odoo,for revealing this feature first of all we have to configure it properly.

     

    Here is the List of instruction for  Outgoing mail configuration in Odoo .

          i am assuming that you are using ODOO(9.0) and login as admin.

    Activate Developer Mode

    1. For activating the developer mode just click on right corner of menu.
    2. Click on  About.

    3. Now a PopUp will Open.
    4. Click  on activate the developer.

     

    Configure Outgoing Mail Server

    1. Go to Setting–>Technical–>Outgoing Mail Servers.
    2. Click on any records.

    3. Place your SMTP Server Url.
    4. Select SSL Level Security.

    5. Place UserName and Password.

    6. Click on Test Connection to ensure the mail connection is setup properly or not.

    7. Finally If you are getting the message like Connection Test Succeeded!  then save the records  otherwise ( in case Connection Test Failed!) please make sure you have filled the right details or not.

     

     

    Now  Odoo instance is  ready to send the mail , in the next part i will explain  you “How to configure the Incoming mail Server” in Odoo .
