    Odoo Facebook Pixel Integration

    INTRODUCTION


    Odoo Facebook Pixel Integration Module allows you to integrate FB Pixel with Odoo website.

    Facebook Pixel Is an analytical tool provided by Facebook to help business monitor and analyze the behavior of your website traffic. The tool fires a pixel whenever a predefined event occurs on the website such as the customer adds the product to the cart, purchase.

    The data is collected and sent to the Facebook Pixel Analytical tool. You can study the data and identify the top products and the places on your website that need optimization. You can also improve advertisements for your products by reaching the proper audience.

    Once configured, the module can be used to gather and study Odoo website related data through Facebook Analytics Tools.

    FEATURES


    • The module configures the Facebook Pixel analytical tool with Odoo website.
    • Once configured, it sends customer behavior data from Odoo website to Facebook Pixel.
    • The Odoo admin can easily deploy various tracking events to collect useful data from Odoo website for analysis.
    • Data related to events such as Search, Add to cart, Initiate checkout, Add payment info, Purchase and View content is sent to the Facebook Pixel.
    • Implemented Enhanced E-commerce features like Add to cart, Purchase, etc.

    INSTALLATION


    1.) Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.

    2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘fb_pixel’.

    3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.

    4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.

    5.) Then, open on Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.

    6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘fb_pixel’.

    7.) You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

    WORKFLOW


    1.) Before integrating Facebook Pixel with Odoo, you need to create a Facebook Pixel account. For more info Click Here

    2.) Once you have a Facebook Pixel account, go to Website > Configuration > Settings > Website > Facebook Pixel.

    3.) Here, paste the Pixel ID. Click Save.

    4.) Once you paste the Id, the following events are automatically activated to fire the triggers according to the action taken by the customers on your website:

    • Search
    • Add to cart
    • Initiate checkout
    • Add payment info
    • Purchase
    • View content (ex: product page, landing page

    5.) You can also add new events as per your requirement. Please check the following link to know more >> Pixel Standard Events.

    6.) Go to Facebook Ads manager. Then click on Facebook Analytics. Here you can see be able to see the data on the dashboard.

    7.) You can see your pixel event data on the Pixel page. On the Data Sources tab, you can measure and optimize your ad campaigns that are leveraging your pixel event data.
