User Manual for Odoo Customer Address for Portal Payments

INTRODUCTION

Odoo Customer Address for Portal Payments streamlines address management during payments via My Account.

It allows customers to add, edit, or use saved delivery and billing addresses before making payments. 

This module resolves the limitation in Odoo where customers could not modify their addresses while making a payment through the portal. 

It enables easy and efficient address management, providing flexibility for customers with varied delivery or billing needs.

FEATURES 

  1. Quickly update delivery addresses during payment through the portal.
  2. Easily modify billing addresses before payment for the quotations in “My accounts”.
  3. Add new delivery addresses while paying through the portal .
  4. Restore previously saved delivery addresses with a single click.
  5. Enable or disable the portal address review and edit feature globally.
  6. Configure portal address review and edit feature for individual orders as needed.
  7. Ensure accurate invoicing with updated billing addresses.
  8. Improve customer satisfaction with flexible address management.
  9. Save time and effort by reloading saved delivery addresses.

INSTALLATION

  1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the module’s zip file.
  2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘customer_address_portal_payments
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
  5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘customer_address_portal_payments
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

CONFIGURATION

Go to Settings > Sales > Quotations & Orders.Enable the Portal Address Review and Edit option in Odoo Customer Address for Portal Payments.

.Enable the Portal Address Review and Edit

Once enabled, this configuration will apply globally to all new quotations.

This will allow users to edit or change addresses before paying through the portal.

WORKFLOW

  1. Access all orders in the quotation stage via the My Account section in Odoo Customer Address for Portal Payments.

2. Select the quotation you wish to pay for and click Pay Now.

3. Edit your existing billing address before proceeding with the payment through portal.

4. Modify your delivery address by selecting it and making changes as per your need Odoo Customer Address for Portal Payments.

5. If you want to add a new delivery address, you can click on add address and easily add a new address for your current order.

6. Use the Reload Button to reload a previously saved address while adding a new one saving time and effort.

7. Click Proceed to complete the payment through the portal with Odoo Customer Address for Portal Payments
