Odoo AfterShip Shipping Integration: Optimize Your Shipping Workflow with Ease!

Odoo AfterShip Shipping Integration module for Odoo streamlines the shipping process by providing businesses with multiple carriers and various shipping rates.

This module have the ability to handle both domestic and international orders seamlessly while keeping customers informed with real-time tracking updates.

Odoo AfterShip Shipping Integration allows businesses to manage shipping tasks efficiently from a single platform, ensuring cost-effective deliveries.

INSTALLATION

  1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
  2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘aftership_shipping_integration
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
  5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘aftership_shipping_integration
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

1. After installing Odoo Aftership Shipping Integration module , the next step is to setup the module’s configuration in your devices

    2. Open the Odoo AfterShip Shipping Integration module , go to sales and click on configuration , in the dropdown menu, click on shipping methods.

     3. Now, you can either create a new shipping method by clicking on ‘Create’ or click on the already created aftership delivery method.

    4. Now, after selecting the aftership delivery shipping method, under the extra tab, configure the ‘Delivery Setting and Aftership shipping information.’

    NOTE: For international Shippo delivery, select ‘Use Shippo International Service’ in the Shippo shipping setting under the extra tab.

    5. Under the Aftership credential tab, configure the Aftership API key.

    6.  After configuring Aftership local and international delivery, create an order from the odoo backend.

    7. Select the customer and the product that needs to be ordered.

    8. To add a shipping method, click the ‘Add shipping’ option.

    9. The ‘Add a Shipping Method’ window will pop up. Select the shipping method as Aftership Delivery and click on the ‘Get Aftership Price.’

    10. Select the shipping rates according to the required service and click ‘Select.’

    11. Now, confirm the quotation, make it a sales order, and click on ‘Confirm.’

    12. Open the delivery from the center, to make a package for the product

    13. Now, for packaging, click on ‘Put in Pack ’ button at the bottom.

    14. Configure the package details and click on ‘Save.’

    15. After all the processes, click ‘Validate’ to validate your delivery.

    16. After validation user can see transaction ID, shipment rate ID, tracking URL, and tracking reference.

    17. You will get an email and SMS reminder attachment for tracking.

    18. The tracking URL will provide you with an update on your shipment.

    19.  Create an order without selecting any delivery method and confirm it.

    20. To customize your package size, click the ‘Put in Pack’ button.

    21. Under ‘Shipping Information in Additional Settings,’ choose the carrier as ‘Aftership Delivery .’

    22. Now Click on ‘Get Aftership  Rates’ to configure the Aftership rate for your delivery.

    23. Now select the aftership rate according to the service that is well suited for the delivery.

    24. Finally, click ‘Validate’ to validate your delivery for processing.

    25. After the validation of your delivery, you will receive an attachment of tracking via Email and SMS.

    NOTE: You can simply track and trace your order with this attachment.

    Shipment Cancellation 

    26. To cancel the shipment , go to additional info and click on cancel located with the tracking reference .

    27. Click on ok , to confirm the cancellation of shipment.

    28. If the user need to return the order , click on the return button on top left.

    29. Select the product you need to return and click on return.

    30. Go  to additional info  and choose the Aftership delivery  as carrier .

    31. Now click on get aftership rates  and select the preferred aftership rate.

    32. User can check the aftership service type under aftership data tab.

    33. Click on validate to complete the return and get the tracking reference.

    34. After the validation, a message will be generated containing aftership label for return of the product.

    35. If the labels are not generated , you can click download aftership label to download the labels separately.

    36. You can also see the tracking reference number under the additional info tab. It is visible only after validation with Odoo AfterShip Shipping Integration
