INSTALLATION

  1. After you buy the app from the Webkul store, you’ll get a link to download the module’s zip file.
  2. After the download is complete, unzip the file on your computer. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named-‘marketplace_google_shop(you can get the technical name from the odoo app of the respective module)’
  3. Copy this folder and paste it in your Odoo Add-Ons folder.
  4. Open the Odoo App and go to Settings. Click on Activate Developer Mode.
  5. Next, go to the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
  6. Remove all filters in the search bar and search ‘marketplace_google_shop.’
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’to install it.

WORKFLOW

ODOO BACKEND CONFIGURATION

  1. Log in to your Odoo backend and navigate to ‘Google Shop.’ Click the ‘Create’ button on the homepage.

2. Complete the ‘Basic Details’ and ‘Product Configuration’ sections. Configure ‘Account’ and ‘Field Mapping’ separately.

3. For ‘Account’ configuration, click the arrow next to the box, fill in the details in the popup, and click ‘Save.’

4. For ‘Field Mapping,’ click the arrow to open a popup window, name the mapping, select the settings, and click ‘Save.’

5. View all mapped products under ‘Mapping > Product Mapping’ and view details by clicking any of them.

6. Choose ‘Field Mapping’ from the ‘Mapping’ menu to configure or change preset field mapping.

7.  Go to ‘Settings > Configuration’ to enter your email for system notifications when the token expires.

8. Configure or change account settings in ‘Settings > Account.’.

9. Create Google fields for ‘Field Mapping’ under ‘Settings > Google Fields.’

GOOGLE SHOP CONFIGURATION

10. Log in to your ‘Google Merchant Center Account’ and start configuring your Odoo Marketplace by entering your ‘Website URL.’ Click ‘Save’ and proceed with the details requested by Google.

11. Generate the ‘API Key’ required to sync Odoo Marketplace and create a ‘Token’ in the Odoo backend under ‘Client ID for Web Application.’

12. Once completed, the module is successfully configured in the Odoo backend and ready for use.
