Vehicle Parts Finder for WooCommerce module helps customers to search and find the right parts for their Vehicles on the online store.
The vehicle Part Finder module also provides drop-down menu options for quickly finding the right parts for your vehicle.
The admin can also add the Parts Finder on the different layouts according to their needs. Using this module, customers can search for parts on the online store.

Installation
The user will get a zip file that he has to upload in the “Add New” menu option in the WordPress admin panel.
For this, login to WordPress Admin Panel then Under the Dashboard, hover your mouse over the “Plugins” menu option which brings out a Sub-Menu then select the “Add New” option.

After this, you will see an option on the top of your page that is “Upload Plugin”, Now clicks the option to upload the zip file.

By clicking on the “Upload Plugin” option, below that you will see a button “Choose File” click on the button to browse for the zip file as per the snapshot below.

After browsing the file, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.

Now when the plugin is installed correctly, you will see the success message & an option to activate the plugin.

Henceforth, click on “Activate Plugin” to activate the installed plugin.

Configuration
The admin can manage the module from the admin panel easily.
Moreover, after the successful installation of the module, the admin can easily configure the plugin.
To configure the module settings, the admin needs to navigate to the Configuration tab within the module settings section

- Module Setting: The admin can enable or disable the ‘Show Partfinder on Pages’ functionality
- Title: Select Part Finder name to display
- Select Part Finder: The admin can select a Part Finder from the list to display only the desired one on the pages
How to Show Partfinder on Any Page
To utilize the ‘Show Partfinder’ functionality on a page, the admin needs to insert the provided shortcode on the desired page or create a new page and add the shortcode there

Now, click onthe Add New button

Enter the page name, then add an element to insert the shortcode “[wkvpf_part_finder_list]”. After that, paste the shortcode into the element

Now, the page has been successfully created with the Partfinder displayed as configured

For this, the store owner from the admin panel sidebar will navigate to the Part Finder List in order to configure the Part Finders.

Here, the admin can view the list of all part finders. The admin can add and edit a part finder as per the above image.
Part finder can be filtered using the part finder name, date created, and the status of the part finder.
The admin will click the Add Part Finder button to create a Part Finder where the admin enters the specific information about the parts to be created for the specific products.

Enable Part Finder – The admin can set the status Enabled or not of the part finder.
Part Finder Name – It will be shown at the admin end on the Part Finder listing page.
Categories – The admin can assign multiple categories to a Part Finder.
DropDowns – Click on the “Add New” button. The admin can add multiple drop-downs for a part finder.
The admin will need to fill in the Drop-Down name, Option List Sorting(display order at the front end), and can set the drop-down as required or not by selecting “Yes” or “No”.

Add Products
To add the products firstly admin need to create some dropdown options, after that the admin can add the product for a part finder by making a search for the products.
The admin can also select the product and can delete it.
DropDown Values
For adding the dropdown values, the admin can select multiple products from the search bar.
After selecting the products, the admin will click on “Edit”.
From there admin can select the specific dropdown values for the products. And then Save the respective Part Finder

The selected products will be shown on the front end when a customer selects the same values on the part finder as set by the admin. After configuring the part finder, Click on the” Save ” button.
Customer End
The admin can also add the Parts Finder on the different layouts according to their needs.
After creating the Part Finder successfully from the backend, Now the customer can select the specific “Category” and can view the Part Finder on the catalogue page as per the below snapshot –

The customers can select the dropdown values and can find the right part for their vehicle or product as per the below snapshot –

The customer can use the Part Finder created by the admin. The dropdown options will remain the same if that category has any product for that particular search, as shown below:
If the customer finds a part globally.

Below, we can see that for the Color label we have chosen Black for the bicycle.

Flow to Add the “Part Finder” Widget
Navigate to Widgets Settings
Go to Appearance > Widgets from the WordPress admin dashboard.

Now you can view the section to add the widget in the sidebar

Now, click on the “Add” button and search for “Part Finder”
