User Guide for CS-Cart Affiliate Extension

CS-Cart Affiliate extension Addon works and helps you manage affiliate and referral programs effectively.

An affiliate program is a key marketing strategy that enables sellers to increase their revenue by rewarding users who promote their products and services.

Affiliate users or referral users can get some commission from the seller. After the sales are converted or a new registration from a referral link.

An affiliate and referral program is essential for every marketplace. Now, for the CS-Cart Ultimate and CS-Cart Multi-Vendor, Webkul provides affiliate and referral program modules.

With the help of CS-Cart Affiliate Extension, the admin can allow sellers to provide the referral option on products, and allow registered customers to generate referral links for joining.

Note: Without registering and logging in to the store, customers can neither get the option of ‘Refer this Product’ on the product page nor can refer any other guest customer for registration.

When you download the add-on, you get one zip file and the install.txt file.
Firstly, click on the icon and select Manual installation to upload the zip file as per the screenshot below.

Now, click on “Local” to browse the zip file and then click on “Upload & Install”.

After installation of the add-on, you will find the “CS-Cart Affiliate Extension” in the list of available add-ons. Make sure, the add-on is activated as shown in the snapshot below.

Now the user needs to click on the Referral system to configure the module.

General setting – CS-Cart Affiliate Extension

In the general setting, the admin can allow the creation of referral links for vendors, users, and admins on the tap on the check box.

With that, the admin can also set the minimum or maximum reward values or reward counts.

• Joining Reward Checkbox – Check this to allow joining reward points for the newly registered customers by the referral link. Then the referred customer or register customers both get reward points between Minimum or maximum points.
• Fix Value Check – After checking this box, the registered customer gets a fixed value of reward points.

If the admin wants to enter reward points manually then need to tap on the fix values check. The admin can set any order status for which rewards are generated.

• Point Value – The admin can enter point values like 1 or 2 (1 referral point = 1 reward point).
• Cashback Reason – The admin can enter the cashback reason for the mailer.

In an MLM setting, the admin can set level-wise reward points and also add new levels.

In this module, the admin can provide a referral link feature according to the plan chosen by vendors.

If the admin wants to provide a referral link feature with selected membership then he can allow it as per their membership policy.

If the admin wants to allow or disallow a referral link option on any specific category page. Then the admin can easily manage this by tapping on the referral category status check box.

The Admin checks referral points, MLM listing, and email referral list from the backend.

First, click on ‘Customers’, then go to ‘Customers/Administrations/Vendor’s Administrations’ and select the respective customer name.

Next, click on the corner settings button to view the options — ‘Referral Points’, ‘MLM List’, and ‘E-Mail Referral List’.

The admin can check referral points from the backend.

The admin can check the MLM listing from the backend.

The admin can check the email referral list from the backend.

The platform allows both admins and vendors to easily find and track all orders generated through affiliate links.

Follow the steps below to view them:

• Go to the Orders section in your CS-Cart admin/Vendor panel.
  
• Click on Advanced Search to open the search filters. 
  
• Enable the checkbox labeled Affiliated Link Orders.
  
• Finally, click on the Search button. 

All the affiliate link orders will be displayed on a separate page for better visibility and management. 

Customers can share the registration link and check the referral points, and email the referral list.

‘Go to Frontend’ Then click on ‘My Account and log in.

Customers can send registration referral links by entering a valid email address.

After entering the email id customer’s referred person will get mail for registration.

Customers can check referral points from the front end with all details such as referral type, customer name, and amount.

Customers can check the email referral list to whom the referral link is sent.

Customers can refer to any product by clicking on the ‘Refer this Product’.

After entering the email id customer’s referred person will get invitation mail for product purchase.
