Odoo To Do List

Minimize the use of paper by handling your different tasks online with the Odoo To Do List module. The Odoo user can create a ‘ToDo’ list for any task or project with the respective stages. Odoo To Do List Module helps you to categorize the task with respect to different stages like new, pending, canceled, and done.

A To-do list helps to compile and prioritize the work which helps to manage the workload and hit the deadlines. The task can be created for a ToDo item. The Todo items can be seen and managed from the same screen as the tasks.


  • It allows the Odoo user to create a ToDo list in the Odoo to serve as a reminder for any task or upcoming project.
  • You can create a to-do task item by the Odoo user for any project. The ‘ToDo’ item does not show up on the tasks menu.
  • The ToDo item gets done once a task is created for the same in the Odoo otherwise it stays in the pending state until canceled.


  1. Once you have purchased the module from our Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.
  2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘odoo_todo_list’.
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. You can activate the developer mode by typing ‘debug’ after ‘web?’ in the URL as well.
  5. Now, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘odoo_todo_list’.
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.


  1. Once the installation is completed, visit the project app from the backend and select the To Do list tab.
  2. The list of different tasks with the corresponding stage (New, Pending, Done, or Canceled) and other information will appear.

To Create A Todo List 

  1. Click on the Create button, Add the desired title of the task then click on add button. 
  1. Todo Form View: Once done click on the Edit button to add the description and other details.
  2. After that, change the task from new to Pending by clicking on the pending button. The task is changed from Pending to Done when the task is completed. 
  1.  Cancel the task by clicking on the Cancel button. 
  1. On the Todo list page: As a result, change the stage of created tasks by drag and drop option from one stage to another, according to the progress of the task.

  1. Under All Tasks tab, you can see all the tasks under different states.

Create Todo For Particular Project 

  1. A, a result, the module can also create To do for particular project by clicking on the Todo link.
