Nobody wants to wait in the long queue. Customers always avoid long queue as it creates great hassle while standing in the queue. Apparently, all the business are adopting queue management system in order to manage the cluster of people. Every business whether it is a restaurant, clinic etc is implementing a computerized system which is designed to manage the group of people and also to increase the customer experience.
Webkul is offering an application “Odoo Queue Management/Odoo Token Management” which allows us to reduce the loss of a potential sale due to ill-managed waiting line management. This module introduces a self-ticketing token management system for the customers with a token display screen on the front-end. You can view details like the number of counters present at a time, total tickets generated in the system, customers served and canceled tickets from the single screen. Check token history and status of all the serving counters to manage customer queue using Odoo.
- Odoo TOken Management provides the feature to introduce the token system for the Queue management in the store
- The customer can generate and print out the tokens themselves and wait for their turn.
- The incorporated token counter is displayed on the screen.
- The token counter also displays the departments catering to the customers.
- Neatly designed dashboard for the admin to overview all the necessary information like the total tickets generated in a month or year, total customers served etc.
- The status of the token can be marked as Done, Progress or cancel by the admin depending upon the necessity and requirement of the customer
- Different departments can be created according to the type of service and products.
- The admin can see the token creation history in the Odoo back-end.
- The token dispensing sequence can be customized by the admin in the Odoo backend.
Workflow of the module
Let’s have the quick peek into the functionality of the module.
Basically, there are three parties who are involved in this Queue Management System-
a) User1(the person who will log in into the software to generate the token)
b)User 2(a person who will manage whole token system)
c)Manager(a person who has all the rights equivalent to admin. He has the right to see the details on the dashboard)
An interface which is used to generate the token for the customers. Fill all the relevant details in order to generate the token. As an example- A person who is standing in the queue generates the token for himself by clicking on “Generate Token”
After generating token, all the relevant information like Token no, how many are attending, what is your position is displayed on the screen.
PROCESS TOKEN USER
Further, when all the token is generated, A process token user(user 2) will manage all the token of the customers. He will call the customers one by one by clicking on “Call Next”.
All the further details like customer query and feedback are stated for the checkout process by process token user(user 2).
A dashboard of Process Token Manager (user 2) shows all the information of different counters like Tab Counter, Display LED/LCD Counter, Mobile counter. Also, the status of each counter is displayed whether it is in the open stage or in progress stage.
Admin has all the right to see the dashboard. All the relevant information like How many served, how many are still in the queue. In addition, it displays the graphical and pie-chart representation of data on the dashboard.
The gist of the Application
Odoo Queue Management/Odoo Token Management system is the computerized way of managing the customers very well. It provides a self -ticketing system wherein customers can generate the token themselves and proper management is designed to manage the customers holding the tokens.
