Odoo Pathology Lab Center Locator Module allows your patients to locate your designated collections centers directly from the Odoo website using Google Maps. The admin can add all his collection center locations in the Odoo backend and configure them on Google Maps. Additional information like contact information, facilities available and relevant images can also be added to the location details for the customers. The customers can view the nearest collection center using the locate center tab on the Odoo website.
- The module allows the patients to locate Pathology collection Centers near them using the Google Map on Odoo website.
- The admin can add different locations of collection Centers in the Odoo and add geolocation to add them on Google Maps.
- The admin can also add default address to the Google Maps.
- Other information like center timings, available lab tests, facilities, contact information etc can also be added to the details. These details are available for the customers to view on the Odoo website.
- The location for a collection center can be added manually or using the coordinates.
- The patients can simply click locate labs tab and select the collection centers from the list or search in the search box.
1.) Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘website_pathlab_locator’.
3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5.) Then, open on Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘website_pathlab_locator’.
7.) You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.
Adding Collection Centers Locations In Odoo
1.) Open the Odoo backend. Navigate through Pathology >> Centers >> Collection centers. Here, click on Create to create a new collection center location.
2.) Now, enter the name of the collection center and then tick on the checkbox next to ‘Is a Collection center’.
3.) Select the primary Lab center associated with this collection center and the chief pathologist for this center.
4.) Under the facility field, you can add various facilities available in the particular collection center. These will be displayed to the customers on the Odoo website.
5.) Then, enter various details like address, contact details, etc under Address menu.
6.) You can choose to enter the center coordinates on Google Map either manually or allow them to get the coordinates automatically using the entered address.
(Please note the Google Maps are needed to be integrated on the Odoo website and Odoo backend for this feature)
7.) Moving on, Click on lab timings to add the days of the weeks along with opening and closing time for the particular collection center. Click on ‘Add the item and fill the details.
8.) Next, images of the collection center, depicting facilities or other useful information can be added for the customers. Click on ‘Save’.
Setting The Default Map Coordinates
9.) Default coordinates are those which are loaded when the Map loads each time initially. You need to first integrate Google Maps with Odoo at both website end and Odoo backend.
10.) Now, Go to Pathology >> Settings >> Default Map Settings.
11.) Here, choose the Map Center. This will the epicenter location when the maps load for the first time. Enter the address Manually or let the map detect the center automatically.
12.) select Map Type between RoadMap, Satellite View, terrain. etc.
13.) Then set the Search Radius and Zoom.
Locating Collection Test From The Odoo Website
14.) Now go to the Odoo website Home page. Here click on Locate labs tab.
15.) Here, you can view the list of all the created collection centers.
16.) Click on any center to view its location on the map.
17.) Click on the title of the collection center to view the details like facilities, images and contact details on a new page.
