User Guide for Odoo Facebook Messenger Chat

INTRODUCTION

Odoo Social Commerce Chat makes it simple for businesses to message customers directly through Facebook Messenger on their Odoo website.

Odoo Social Commerce Chat helps businesses provide real-time support, answer questions faster, and build better customer relationships.

A messenger chat button added to the website, so visitors can start a conversation instantly. They can chat on Messenger for product details, order help, or any questions.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘facebook_messenger_chat’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘facebook_messenger_chat’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

Workflow

1. After installing the module, navigate to the settings > website > Facebook Messenger chat.
2. After entering the Facebook ID, the user can see the Facebook Messenger button.

3. After entering the details, a homepage message along with a Messenger icon.

4. Clicking on the Messenger icon will open the chat page, allowing you to connect with people through Odoo Social Commerce chat.

5. Chats will appear on Odoo app page, where you can chat with our team for any queries.
