Magento 2 Multi Vendor Broadcast

• The admin can broadcast messages to the vendors of the marketplace.
• At the admin end module enable/disable function is added.
• The admin can broadcast messages to multiple vendors at a time.
• Email notification is sent to the vendors for the broadcasted message.
• The admin can enter the subject and content for the broadcast message.
• The admin can delete the broadcast messages.
• The vendors can view and delete all received broadcasted messages from the admin.
• The module is compatible with Graphql and Hyva theme.

For installing Magento 2 Marketplace Vendor Broadcast extension, follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: The customers will get a zip folder and they have to extract the contents of this zip folder on their system. Please select the correct folder according to your Magento version (2.1.x, 2.2.x, 2.3.x, or 2.4.x).

Now, unzip the respective extension zip and then move the “app” folder (inside “src” folder) into the Magento root directory on the server.

Step 2: After the above step, run the below-mentioned commands in the Magento 2 root directory via terminal.

php bin/magento setup:upgrade

php bin/magento setup:di:compile

php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy

Step 3: Lastly, flush the cache and re-index all by navigating through System->Cache Management.

For translating the module language, navigate through app>code>Webkul>MpVendorBroadcast>i18n and edit the en_US.csv file.

Now, translate the words on the right and upload the modified file to the same location. The filename of the translated file should be according to the language and region code like de_DE.csv.

Email Configuration

The admin can navigate through Store->Configuration->Webkul->Marketplace->Marketplace Vendor Broadcast.

Here, the admin will:

• Select the default email template that will be used for sending the Broadcast Mail to Seller.
• Enable and Disable the module at the admin end as per the requirement.

Sending the Broadcast Message:

To send a broadcast message to the marketplace vendors, the admin of the webstore will now navigate through Marketplace Management->Manage Seller.

Under the Manage Seller section, the admin will be able to send the broadcast message to the marketplace vendors by first selecting the vendors(select a single/multiple) and then clicking the “Broadcast Message” button at the top right-hand side.

Tapping the button brings up the section for creating and sending the broadcast message.

Here, the admin most importantly will be able to –

• Enter the Title of the broadcast message.
• Enter the Message content for the broadcasting message.
• lastly, tap the Send button to broadcast the message to the selected marketplace vendors.

Apart from that, the admin can also reset the title and message section by tapping the Reset button.

The vendors will be able to receive the email having the admin’s broadcasted message.

The vendors can check all the received broadcasted messages by navigating under their account panel to Vendor Message.

This option is only available if the admin has set the separate vendor dashboard(Under Marketplace module configuration settings) to Enable for the vendors.

Otherwise, if the default account panel view is set, then the vendor needs to navigate under the Marketplace block to the Vendor Message sub-menu option.

Apart from checking the broadcasted messages from the admin, the sellers can also delete the received messages.

To do so, the sellers will have to select the message(s) to delete and then from the Actions drop-down select the Delete button to delete the selected messages.

Lastly, the seller can see the confirmation message that A total of 1 record(s)have been deleted.

The admin can easily check all the broadcasted messages that the admin has sent to the marketplace vendors.

To do so, the admin will navigate through Marketplace Management -> Vendor Broadcast ->View Messages.

Here, the admin can find the broadcast message details that include the –

• Customer Id
• Title of the Broadcasted Message
• Sent Broadcasted Message
• Date when the Broadcasted messages were sent.
• View the full message.

Apart from that, the admin can also delete the broadcasted message by selecting the messages and choosing the delete button.

So, while the admin of the webstore wants to broadcast messages to the marketplace vendors, this extension can be utilized for sending in the quick broadcast message to a single/multiple vendors at the same time.

As a matter of fact, it is the best way to quickly send the broadcast message to each and every vendor of the marketplace store. Now, you can reach out to the vendors within the marketplace store and share your message with all of them.
