Islagrande recognizes the importance of order delivery in an e-commerce business. For good sales and better growth, a company must offer excellent delivery services.
Therefore, Islagrande wants to optimize the product delivery service on its e-commerce platform in a customer-friendly manner, by enabling customers to track their orders.
Islagrande wants a feature that facilitates them to establish a link between themselves and the delivery boy and also facilitates them in assigning and tracking orders.
To integrate this feature into its online platform, they were looking for a development service that would help them to integrate this feature.
So they contacted Webkul via UVdesk ticket support, and Webkul assisted them by providing a suitable solution for their needs.
In this case study, we will learn about the solution that Webkul provided to Islagrande to overcome its challenges.
Webkul provides its Magento 2 delivery boy app as a solution for Islagrande.
The Magento 2 delivery boy app helped Islagrande, to integrate the link between themselves and the delivery boys.
This app establishes the link by offering features such as tracking and chatting with the delivery boy.
The app facilitates both the admin and the delivery boy:-
In the app, the admin gets the dashboard page which contains all the details about the sales and orders.
The admin can manage, create, and view details of all the delivery boys available in the app.
The admin can also track the status of the delivery boy and assign them the order if their status is online
Admin can also chat with the delivery boy if needed.
The delivery boy also gets the dashboard that contains all the details about his sales and orders.
Whenever an order is assigned to the delivery boy, a pop-up will appear on his mobile screen, allowing him to accept or reject the order directly from the pop-up.
The delivery boy has the feature of “Pickup location”, which redirects him to Google Maps to navigate to the pickup location for that order.
To complete the order, the delivery boy must click “Delivered,” which will open the “Enter OTP” pop-up. The delivery boy then enters the OTP provided by the customer.
The customer will receive the OTP Pin in the order section after placing the order, which makes online shopping safe and secure for customers.
By using this Magento 2 Extension, Islagrande is now able to overcome its challenges.
The app allows them to establish a connection with their delivery boys.
This module provides them with the feature of an efficient order delivery system and ultimately increases their sales and growth.
