User Guide For Recipe App For Wix

Overview –

Do you want to share your cooking recipes? Recipe App for Wix is a user-friendly, intuitive platform designed to bring the joy of sharing your cooking skills to the online platform.

Whether you’re a seasoned chef or a beginner, this app offers options to share your recipes to help your audience create delicious dishes with ease

People can follow your posted recipes and YouTube videos from a single place.

Installation and Workflow –

To install the app, follow the following steps –

Go to your Wix store, then click on Apps >> Manage Apps as shown.

Now, click on Get More Apps.

• Now, you’ll be redirected to the app market page from where you need to search for “Cooking Recipes“.

• Click on Add to site button to add the app to your site, as shown below.

• Check the box and click on the “Agree & Add” button after reviewing all the terms of use and privacy policies.

• Then, you will be redirected to the app dashboard.

After installation, go to settings and click on Wix Editor, in case the app is not showing on the frontend.

App Subscription :  

In order to subscribe to the app, you need to go to the Wix Dashboard, then Apps >> Manage Apps.

In front of the app, you will see the option to upgrade your subscription, click on the upgrade button, and you are done.

Now go to Category, from here the admin can create various categories for listing of recipes, as shown in the screenshot.

Next, you need to click on the recipe and add the recipe.

Now add the general info of the recipe as shown under the General Info tab –

Next, click on the Ingredients Tab and enter the ingredient details for the recipe –

In the Next tab, add steps of instructions, and a YouTube link can also be inserted as shown –

In the next tab, nutrition info can be added, and further click on create to add a recipe.

Now, as you can see below, the recipe is added –

Frontend View –

On the frontend, all the listed recipes will be shown as follows. The viewer can click on details to view all the details about the recipe.

Also, the reader/viewer can review the recipe by clicking on the review section.

Once the review is posted, it will be visible under the review section.

Also, the admin can see all the reviews on recipes under the reviews section in the backend.
