Prestashop Advance Reassurance Block {User- Guide}

With PrestaShop Advance Reassurance Block, you can highlight the relevant information of your store like payment security, hassle-free returns, original products, etc in a block.

 Such information reassures the customers that the store is trustworthy.

Note: Prestashop Advance Reassurance Block module is compatible with multi-store feature of PrestaShop.

• A highly customizable block to display necessary information to the customers about your shop. E.g. shipping, order tracking, online cancellations etc.
• Reassures your customers of trustworthiness of the store.
• Display reassurance block on product page, category page, and CMS page.
• Display reassurance block at different positions of the page.
• Enable/disable, edit or delete the reassurance block easily.
• Gives confidence to the customers regarding the authenticity of the store.

You need to add these hooks in your core PrestaShop for some specific features

Custom Hook for Classic Theme

1. {hook h=’displayCategoryTop’}
   Path: themes/classic/templates/catalog/listing/category.tpl
   below open block {block name=’product_list_header’}
2. {hook h=’displayCMSTop’}
   Path: themes/classic/templates/cms/page.tpl
   below opening block {block name=’page_content_container’}
3. {hook h=’displayCMSBottom’}
   Path: themes/classic/templates/cms/page.tpl
   above closing block {block name=’page_content_container’}

Custom Hook for Hummingbird Theme

1. {hook h=’displayCategoryTop’}
   Path: themes/hummingbird/templates/catalog/listing/category.tpl
   below open block {block name=’product_list_header’}
2. {hook h=’displayCMSTop’}
   Path: themes/hummingbird/templates/cms/page.tpl
   below opening block {block name=’page_content_container’}
3. {hook h=’displayCMSBottom’}
   Path: themes/hummingbird/templates/cms/page.tpl
   above closing block “{/block}” of {block name=’page_content_container’}

1. Go to the back  office-> modules -> Upload a module
2. Upload zip file of “Advance Reassurance Block” module
3. The module will automatically get installed on your Prestashop.

After the successful installation of Advance Reassurance Block module, admin can view the “Manage Reassurance” tab from where he can configure the module.

Admin can add the reassurance bock by clicking on ‘Add new block’ button.

Display of Reassurance Block

Admin can choose to display reassurance block on:

• All page – If admin chooses to display a reassurance block on all the pages of the website then he has to select a hook on the page where he wants to display the reassurance block. In case of All pages, admin can select ‘displayFooter’ or ‘displayFooterBefore’.

• Product Page – If admin chooses to display a reassurance block on the product page then he can select ‘displayReassurance (Above product descripption block)’ or ‘displayFooterProduct (Above footer)’ hook.

• Category Page – If admin chooses to display a reassurance block on the category page then he can display it on ‘displayCategoryTop (Above category banner)’ hook.

• CMS Page – If admin chooses to display a reassurance block on the CMS pages then he can select ‘displayCMSTop’ hook or ‘displayCMSBottom’ hook to display it.

Once saved, admin can view it under “Manage Reassurance” tab as shown below:

Admin can add images which will be visible in reassurance block by clicking on ‘Add New Image’ button.

Once images have been added to the reassurance block, admin can view it by clicking on ‘View’ button under “Manage Reassurance” tab.

At Front End, the reassurance block can be displayed on all pages, product page, category page or CMS page as configured by admin.
