Odoo Website OpenPay Payment Acquirer User Guide

INTRODUCTION:

Odoo Website OpenPay Payment Acquirer allows businesses to make their businesses fast and secure by integrating it with their odoo website.

It can be easily enabled from the backend in a few steps and published on the Odoo website for the customers providing them with an enhanced checkout experience.

Features:

1. Admins can integrate the Odoo Website OpenPay Payment Acquirer with Odoo.
2. It provides an enhanced checkout experience for customers, which results in quick and secure payments.
3. Odoo Website OpenPay Payment Acquirer accepts Debit cards, Credit cards, and E-wallets for making payments on the odoo website.
4. The transaction details can be viewed on the odoo backend.

Installation: 

After purchasing the module, a link will be provided to download a zip file.

1. Extract the file and a folder named ‘wk_payment_openpay’ will be visible.
2. Copy the folder to the Odoo add-ons path.
3. Open the Odoo app, and click on settings. Then, Click on Developer Mode.
4. Now, open the Apps Menu and click ‘Update Module List’.
5. At the search bar, remove all filters and search ‘wk_payment_openpay’.
6. And Click on Install for Installation.

Workflow:

Configuration:

1. Once installed, The admin can configure the Odoo Website OpenPay Payment Acquirer by navigating to ‘Website>Configuration>Payment Providers’.

2. Select the ‘Openpay’ payment provider, enter the ‘Merchant Id’, ‘Secret Key’, and ‘Public Key’ in the credentials tab, and set the state to enabled.

3. In the ‘Configuration’ tab, enter the required ‘Maximum Amount,’ ‘Currencies,’ and ‘Countries,’ and select ‘Payment Journal’ to record transactions.

4. In the ‘Messages’ tab, enter the required payment process messages, click ‘Save’, and publish the OpenPay Payment Acquirer on the Odoo Website by selecting ‘Unpublished’.

5. By activating the developer mode, The admins will be able to view all the transaction details of the customers by navigating to ‘Website>Configuration>Payment Transactions’.

Website View:

1. Navigate to the Odoo Website, Open the ‘Shop’ page, Select the required products, And click on the ‘Add to Cart’ button.

2. After adding all the required products to the cart, Proceed to the checkout page, Select the ‘OpenPay’ payment option, and click on the ‘Pay Now’ button.

3. On the OpenPay Payment page, Enter the details of either a credit or debit card and proceed to make payment by clicking on the ‘Pay’ button.

4. When the transaction is successful, The customer will be redirected to the payment information page showing the order summary of the purchase.
