vQmod is used to avoid changes in core file. The concept is very simple, instead of direct change in core file just create an XML file and place this file into your store so when you load your store page then changes reflect. The core file will not be executed because a duplicate file will be created and that file will be executed.
vQmod is very easy to install. Please follow steps to install vQmod
step: 1 Download
Download latest version of vQmod from here and unzip the file
step: 2 Upload into store
Upload vqmod folder into root of Opencart store. It could be happened that vqmod or vqmod/vqcache directories are not writable so take care of it.
step: 3 install
Now open your store URL and append vqmod/install . URL is mentioned in below image and you will get success message as displayed below.
