User Guide for Odoo Website PayLane Payment Provider 

Odoo Website PayLane Payment Provider allows websites to accept secure online card payments using PayLane with an inline checkout flow. Customers complete payments directly on the checkout page without redirection.

Odoo Website PayLane Payment Provider helps businesses offer a smooth checkout experience with instant payment confirmation and backend transaction tracking.

The module is designed to keep payments fast, simple, and secure while giving admins full control from the Odoo backend.

1. Secure PayLane’s inline card payments allow customers to enter their card details safely on the checkout page.
2. The no-redirect checkout flow lets customers complete payments without leaving the website.
3. Full order payment is required at checkout to confirm the order successfully.
4. Payment status updates automatically in Odoo after the transaction is completed.
5. All PayLane transactions are stored centrally in the backend for easy tracking and review.
6. Admins can configure and manage PayLane API credentials directly from the backend settings.

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘wk_payment_paylane’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘wk_payment_paylane’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.

Configuration of Odoo Website PayLane Payment Provider

1. Go to Website → Configuration → Payment Providers.
Here, you can view all available payment providers, including PayLane, listed in the backend.

2. Open the PayLane payment provider and enter the API Login, API Password, and API Key under the Credentials tab.
Enable Test Mode or Live Mode, assign the website, and publish the provider to activate it for checkout.

3. On the checkout page, select PayLane as the payment method.
Enter the card details in the secure inline payment form and click Pay Now to proceed.

4. After a successful payment, the order confirmation page is displayed. Customers can see the payment status, order number, and complete order summary.

5. Admins can view all PayLane payment transactions from the backend.  Each record shows the order reference, amount, payment status, and provider details.

6. Admins can open any PayLane transaction to view complete details.  The page shows payment reference, amount, customer information, and confirmation status.
