User Guide for Odoo Smartposti Shipping Integration

Odoo Smartposti Shipping Integration helps businesses manage Smartposti shipping directly in Odoo. It allows users to use fixed shipping rates, create shipments, print labels, and track deliveries.

With this module, all Smartposti shipping tasks are handled inside Odoo. Users can work in one system, saving time and reducing the chance of errors.

Odoo Smartposti Shipping Integration works in conjunction with the following module:

You must install the above-mentioned module to use Odoo Smartposti Shipping Integration.

1. Use a fixed Smartposti shipping rate to keep delivery pricing consistent.
   
2. Create Smartposti shipments directly from Odoo.
   
3. Automatically generate Smartposti shipping labels in Odoo.
   
4. Track Smartposti shipments using tracking details in Odoo.
   
5. Handle Smartposti return shipments from delivery orders.
   
6. Manage return labels and return flow smoothly in Odoo.

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘smartposti_shipping_integration’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘smartposti_shipping_integration’
7. You will be able to see Odoo Smartposti Shipping Integration in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.

Configuration of Odoo Smartposti Shipping Integration

1. From your Odoo backend, navigate to Inventory → Configuration → Delivery Methods.
Here, select Smartposti to configure the delivery carrier, fixed shipping rate, and required settings.

2. Open the Extra tab in the SmartPosti delivery method. Here, set the fixed SmartPosti rate, default weight, unit of measure, label paper size, and select package.

3. Create or open a Sales Order and choose SmartPosti as the delivery method. Click Update Shipping Cost to apply the fixed SmartPosti shipping rate to the order.

4. Confirm the sales order, which automatically creates the Delivery Order.

5. Click Put in Pack and enter the package details such as shipping weight and dimensions. Save the package details to proceed with shipment creation.

6. Once the delivery order is validated, the Smartposti shipment is created.
The shipping label is generated automatically, and the tracking reference appears in the delivery order under Shipping Information.

7. Open the Tracking smart button to view the tracking reference. Shipping label PDF and shipment details are available in the delivery order chatter.

8. Click the Tracking button or use the tracking number on the SmartPosti tracking portal. The shipment status and delivery details are displayed.

9. Click Return on the delivery order, select the product and quantity, and confirm. A return shipment is created, and the return process is completed from Odoo.

10. After creating the return customer can review the returned product details in the delivery order.

11. From the return receipt, click Print Return Label. The SmartPosti return label is generated and attached to the delivery order.
