User Guide for Odoo Sales Order Advance Payments

Odoo Sales Order Advance Payments makes it easy to manage customer prepayments. It keeps all advance payments in a separate account, making it simple to track and manage them.

Odoo Sales Order Advance Payments works well with the Sales and Accounting modules. It ensures advance payments are shown correctly in financial records.

2. It automatically reflects advance payments as credits so no need to set it up manually.
3. This Odoo module allows you to have a separate account for advance payments.
4. A customer can use their advance payments for multiple orders.
5. Advance payments are automatically deducted from the final bills.
6. Customers can view all payments including completed and pending payments.
7. It displays the remaining balance on invoices to avoid confusion and manual work.

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘wk_sale_advance_payments’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘wk_sale_advance_payments’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

1. After installing Odoo Sales Order Advance Payments, you can set the account for advance payment from the backend configuration.

2. After that, you can create an advance payment from a sales order by navigating to Sales>>New>>Register Payments.

3. Now after creating you can view advance payment details.

4. Now in Odoo Sales Order Advance Payments module you can see all the payments done by a customer by Sales>>Customer>>Payments

5. Now you can see all advance payments as credits in the customer invoice.

6. Customers can view the paid amount and balance amount separately in the sales order.
