Odoo Product Tag Shipping Restriction: “Smart tags, smooth shipping”

Odoo Product Tag Shipping Restriction allows sellers to create shipping rules based on product tags, ensuring that delivery options are assigned according to set rules.

Sellers assign tags to each product, and based on these tags, shipping restriction rules are created to ensure the correct delivery option is shown at checkout.

This makes shipping efficient as Sellers can easily manage shipping by creating Shipping restriction rules according to their product tags.

• The delivery options displayed will be filtered according to the shipping rule.
• Sellers can set the tag according to the products.
• Shipping rules can be customized according to products.
• Multiple delivery options are available for customers.

1. Once you have purchased the module from our Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘product_tag_shipping_restriction’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. You can activate the developer mode by typing ‘debug’ after ‘web?’ in the URL as well.
5. Now, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘product_tag_shipping_restriction’.
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

1. After Installation, log in with credentials from the backend to select a product for configuration.
2. Click on Sales and then on Product to open the product in a new tab, where you can assign Tags according to the product.

3. To navigate to the shipping method, click on Sales>>click on Configuration>>click on Shipping Methods.

4. A new tab with the Shipping method will open where you can create a new shipping method or use an existing one.

5. To create a new shipping method click on New.

6. To configure the rule for delivery carriers, click on Shipping Restriction>>click on Add line.

7. The Shipping restriction displays the rule set.

8. Create a new Sales Quotation and add a shipping method. Click on sales>>click on new>>click on Add Shipping

9. Navigate to the website frontend to see all products in the shop, here we can also see the tags.

10. When a Customer adds products to the cart, tags are also visible.

11. During checkout, it displays all delivery methods available to the customer according to the shipping restriction rules.
