User Guide for Odoo Pricelist For POS Category

Odoo Pricelist For POS Category allows businesses to apply pricing rules based on POS categories inside Odoo Point of Sale. By default, Odoo does not support category-wise pricing specifically for POS, which limits pricing flexibility.

Odoo Pricelist For POS Category adds POS Category as an option in the pricelist rule wizard. Once configured, the system automatically updates product prices in the POS frontend based on the selected category.

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘ pricelist_for_pos_category.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘pricelist_for_pos_category.’
7. You will be able to see module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.

1.After installing the Odoo Pricelist For POS Category module, you can configure pricelist rules based on POS product categories and set the pricing method such as discount, formula, or fixed price.

2. In the POS frontend, products are displayed with their default prices when no POS category pricelist rule is applied.

3. In the POS frontend, when a POS category pricelist rule is applied, the products under that category are displayed with the configured pricelist price.
