User Guide for Odoo POS Saferpay Payment Acquirer

Odoo POS Saferpay Payment Acquirer enables secure and fast payments directly within the POS. The module adds a QR-based payment flow that customers can complete using their mobile device.

Customers scan a QR, enter card details on a secure Saferpay page, and the POS updates the order automatically. This makes the entire flow clean, simple, and reliable for both staff and customers.

You must install the above-mentioned module to use Odoo POS Saferpay Payment Acquirer.

1. Secure QR-based Saferpay payment flow integrated directly inside POS.

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘ pos_saferpay_payment_acquirer.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘pos_saferpay_payment_acquirer.’
7. You will be able to see module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.

1. After installing Odoo POS Saferpay Payment Acquirer, navigate to Payment Acquirer Configurations and enter the Saferpay credentials and Saferpay Terminal ID.

2. Open a POS session and go to the payment screen. Saferpay now appears as an available payment option alongside Cash and Card.

3. Upon selecting Saferpay, POS generates a unique QR code containing order details. The customer scans this QR to proceed with the secure payment.

4. After scanning, the customer is redirected to a secure Saferpay card-entry form to submit card number, expiry date, CVN, and cardholder name.

5. Shows payment success on POS and validates the POS order automatically.

6. If payment is in process, delete action shows a warning.

7. Once the payment is successful, POS shows a confirmation popup. The backend logs the transaction with details such as payment amount, method, customer, and session.
