INSTALLATION

  1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
  2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘pos_employee_rfid_login.
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
  5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘pos_employee_rfid_login.
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Configuration of  Odoo POS Employee RFID Login Module

  1. Once the installation of Odoo POS Employee RFID Login is completed, login as admin and go to settings.
  2. Navigate via setting>> point of sale >> POS interface. Check on login by RFID, order validation and manager order validation.

3. The next step is to open POS and login into your session. Use the RFID card to login.

4. After the employee logins into the system, they can see the shop and products in the session.

5. Another employee/cashier can easily switch with the existing cashier if needed just by scanning their RFID cards. (Abigail to Ernest)

6. Now, when the cashiers have switched , the next step is to add the products and proceed with the  payment.

7. Select the payment most suitable to the customer and click on validate.

8. When the cashier clicks on validate, the module asks the cashier to scan their RFID cards, enhancing the security .
