User Guide for Odoo Payment Provider Extra Fee

Odoo Payment Provider Extra Fee helps businesses handle payment costs by letting them set fees for all payment providers.

You can put the same fee for all payments of a provider, or turn on Advanced Extra Fees to give each payment method its own fee. This gives full control and flexibility.

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘odoo_payment_provider_extra_fee‘.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘odoo_payment_provider_extra_fee‘.
7. You will be able to see module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.

Configuration of Odoo Payment Provider Extra Fee

1. After installing the Odoo Payment Provider Extra Fee module, go to Website > Configuration > Payment Providers to start managing extra payment charges.

2. Select any payment provider from the list to configure its extra fee settings.

This will open the provider’s configuration page, where you can manage additional charges using the Odoo Payment Provider Extra Fee module.

3. Enable the “Add Extra Fees” option in the configuration. Once enabled, an Extra Fee Configuration tab will appear next to the Configuration tab of the payment provider.

4. Open the Extra Fee Configuration tab to set the Fixed Domestic Fees and Fixed International Fees at the provider level.

5. If you want to add extra fees directly from the payment method, enable the Advanced Extra Fees Option in the configuration.

There, you can add the Payment Method and set Fixed Domestic Fees and Fixed International Fees for the added payment method.

This helps you manage separate charges for each method as per your business needs.
