User Guide for Odoo FlagShip Shipping Integration

Odoo FlagShip Shipping Integration connects Odoo with multiple FlagShip carriers to automate shipping operations seamlessly.

With this integration, businesses can easily fetch live shipping rates, generate shipping labels, and track shipments directly inside Odoo. As a result, it eliminates the need to switch between different shipping platforms.

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘flagship_delivery_carrier’.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘flagship_delivery_carrier’.
7. You will be able to see module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.

Configuration of Odoo FlagShip Shipping Integration

1. Go to Inventory → Configuration → Delivery Methods→ FlagShip Configuration in Odoo and enter your FlagShip Credentials. Select the Testor Production environment, then save the configuration to activate FlagShip integration.

2. Go to Inventory → Configuration → Delivery Methods in Odoo.
Select FlagShip Shipping, enable the Void Shipment checkbox if you want to allow cancellation of shipments, and configure cost computation (Estimated or Real).

3. Create a Sales Order in Odoo, then click on “Add Shipping” and select “Get Rate”. Odoo will instantly fetch and display real-time FlagShip carrier rates along with estimated delivery details.

4. Choose the preferred FlagShip carrier service from the displayed live rates.

5. Click on Put in Pack and enter the package type, shipping weight, and dimensions (height, width, and length). Then save the package details to prepare the order for shipment creation through FlagShip.

6. Click on Validate to confirm the delivery order in Odoo.
Once validated, the system will create the FlagShip shipment, generate the shipping label, and assign the tracking number.
After that, all FlagShip shipping details will appear under the Shipping Information section of the delivery order.

7. Once validation is complete, the FlagShip shipping labels and tracking link are automatically added to the chatter section of the delivery order.
After that, you can download the label, share the tracking link with the customer, and monitor shipment updates in real time.

8. Next, click on the Track Shipment button from the delivery order to view real-time tracking details directly from FlagShip, thereby allowing you to monitor the shipment status without leaving Odoo.
Additionally, you can download, view, or print the FlagShip shipping label from the delivery order whenever required.

9. After clicking Cancel, the shipment is successfully cancelled. As a result, the confirmation is recorded in the chatter, and the delivery status is updated in Odoo accordingly.
