Introduction
Odoo Dachser Shipping Integration helps businesses connect Dachser shipping services with the shipping workflow. It allows users to manage shipments, labels, and tracking directly from the system.
With this module, businesses can fetch real-time shipping rates, create shipments, generate PDF labels, and track deliveries easily.

Installation
- Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip file.
- Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘dachser_delivery_carrier’.
- Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
- Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
- Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
- In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘dachser_delivery_carrier’.
- You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.
Workflow
Configuration of Odoo Dachser Shipping Integration
1. Navigate to Sales → Configuration → Shipping Methods and create a new delivery method.
Select Dachser as the shipping provider and enter the required credentials, such as Dachser Token and Customer ID.

2. Create or open a Sales Order and click Add Shipping. Select Dachser Delivery as the shipping method and click Get Rate to fetch the shipping cost.

3. After the shipping rate is added, review the order details and click Confirm to proceed. Once confirmed, the system creates a Delivery Order for shipment processing.

4. After confirming the sales order, click the Delivery smart button to open the generated delivery order. This delivery order will be used to create the shipment and generate the shipping label.

5. In the delivery order, click Put in Pack to create a package for the shipment. Enter the required package details, such as weight and dimensions, then click Save.

6. After packaging the products, return to the delivery order screen. Review the shipment details and ensure the package information is correct. Click Validate to confirm the delivery order and create the shipment request in Dachser.

7. After validating the delivery order, the system sends the shipment request to Dachser and creates the shipment automatically.
A tracking reference number is generated and saved in the Carrier Tracking Reference field for shipment tracking.

8. After the shipment is created, the system generates a PDF shipping label automatically. The label is attached to the delivery order, and users can download or print it for the shipment.

9. Using the generated tracking reference, users can track the shipment directly on the Dachser tracking portal.
Enter the tracking number in the search field to view shipment details, current status, transport information, and delivery updates.
