User Guide for Odoo Cron Job Expression

Odoo Cron Job Expression improves scheduled actions by adding cron scheduling and cron syntax support.
It helps you create precise schedules instead of only fixed interval scheduling.

You can configure exact run times, skip specific days, and manage automation easily.

Odoo Cron Job Expression also performs automatic nextcall update, so execution times are calculated without manual work.
You can preview future runs using the Get Next Calls option.

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘wk_cron_job_expression.
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search wk_cron_job_expression.
7. You will be able to see the Odoo Cron Job Expression module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.

Settings → Enable Debug Mode → Technical → Scheduled Actions

• Open Settings in Odoo Cron Job Expression module
  
• Enable Developer (Debug) Mode
  
• Go to Technical
  
• Open Scheduled Actions

Scheduled Actions → Open Action → Select Scheduled type → Enter Cron

• Open any Scheduled Action
• Select scheduled type from standard or expression based
  
• Choose Standard for default interval scheduling
  
• Or choose Expression-Based (Cron)
  
• Then add cron expression
  
• Save the record

Click on Get Next Calls to view  the next 5 scheduled calls
