Estimated Delivery Slot App For Wix

Overview

As online shopping has become a necessity in today’s world, customers often need to know the estimated delivery slot in which they can receive their orders.

Considering this essential requirement of the customers of Wix online stores, Webkul developed the Estimated Delivery Slot App For Wix.

With the help of the Estimated Delivery Slot App, customers can select an estimated time for the delivery of an order according to their availability to receive the order.

Configuration

After installation, go to My Company -> Company Settings and click on sync button to sync the store details to the app end.

Now go to Settings -> Store settings

From here the admin can configure the date, time, and order limit.

Date and time on which admin wants customers to select the slot for the delivery of the orders.

Order limit – the number of orders the admin wants to accept per day/time per slot

Now go to the email configuration.

Set up SMTP configuration.

After this configuration, the customers receive mail via admin email.

Configure the email with the help of the tutorial given and save.

Go to Template Settings -> Email Template Setting

Here admin can add the subject line and content for the email, that the admin wants to send to the customers once they select the slot for the orders and checkout.

Once added, click on save changes to save above.

Next, go to the Order Calender View, here admin can see the number of orders on a particular date.

Click on the order count, it redirects to the page where all the orders of that particular date will be listed with order details.

Front End View

On the Checkout page, customers can see the calendar to select dates and time slots for delivery as shown below.

Note – The customer sees the slots as per the order limit set by the admin in the backend.

Example – The admin has set the order limit for 5 orders per date/time slot.

After 5 orders arrive for the same slot.

In the front end, the slot will be shown as unavailable to book to the customers.
