Deepawali 2015

Deepawali 2015

Diwali.. One of the most auspicious festival in Indian culture, Festival of Lights, Diyas, Fun, Celebration, Sweets and many more. This time we had a great event on Diwali at our office premises.

Ethnic day was organized at Webkul on Diwali. Everyone wore colorful traditional outfits which had made the day more sparkling and lively.

The day started with decorating the office with colored Ribbons, Diyas, Kalash and Rangoli. Working together apart from work makes the bond stronger and reinforces new energy in the environment.
Afterwards we uninterestingly headed towards our workstations for routine work. But, this was intentional as some of the team members were planning something very exciting and surprising for the day and for the sake of which we had to make the day as other usual days.

Now the time came to start the event and unfold the surprise which was “flash-mob”, in which a group assembled for doing some unusual or entertaining activity of short duration. A group of 16 performed dances to start the celebration. This was a big surprise for the rest of the webkulians. No one had thought that such an activity could be planned in busy office schedule, but this turned out a marvelous start to the event.

After Flash mob next was the introduction of all the newbies wherein they had to introduce themselves along with some of the memorable incident happened to them. This was an approach to make the new faces familiar. And, some dance activities were also performed.

Followed by this we had few exciting games such as Head-to-Head, Penguin Race, Paper Plane. It was fun to see people jumping, keeping the ball in their feet, Passing the ball to each other and remembering childhood days by making paper plane and targeting them in a box and much more

Lastly, everyone had lunch and reverted to their workstations
