User Guide of CS-Cart Multi Select Product Options

CS-Cart Multi Select Product Options add-on extends the default product option functionality by allowing customers to select multiple values within a single option.

This feature helps store owners offer add-ons, accessories, or custom features where customers need more than one choice.

Each selected option can include its own price modifier, which the system automatically adds to the base product price.

The add-on displays all selected options clearly on the product page, cart, checkout, and order details.

It ensures a smooth, flexible, and user-friendly product customization experience for customers.

• The admin can create multi-select options for products, allowing customers to choose multiple values within a single option.
• The add-on supports multiple display layouts, including dropdown and horizontal listing.
• The admin can assign price modifiers to each option value.
• The add-on fully supports selected multi-options in the wishlist.
• Customers can proceed to checkout directly from the wishlist with selected options.
• The admin can also select multiple options while creating orders from the backend.

After downloading the Webkul Multiple Options add-on, you’ll get one zip file, one install.txt file, and a relevant User Guide manual doc.

Please read it carefully for proper configuration.

Go to Manage Add-ons, and click on “Manual Installation” as shown below in the snapshot.

Click on “Local” to browse the zip file, and then click on “Upload & Install” as shown below in the snapshot.

Module Configuration

To create product options, navigate to Products >> Options in the admin panel.

• Name: Enter the name of the option.
• Vendor: Select the vendor.
• Type: Select Multiple as the option type.
• Template: Choose either the Dropdown or List layout.
• Required: Enable this option to make it mandatory for customers to select values.

• Variants: Add the option values (variants) that customers can choose from.
• Price: Assign a price modifier to each variant, which the system will add to the base product price when selected.

Add Options in the Products

Navigate to Products >> Options to add and assign product options, allowing customers to select multiple values and customize the product easily.

Orders

To manage the options, navigate to Orders.

Admin can view and manage the options selected by the customer.

Customers can view the available options on the product page when they visit the product, making it easy to select and customize their choices.

From here, customers can select the desired options and place their order easily.

Cart View:

On the cart page, users can add or remove selected options, allowing them to update their choices before placing the order.

Checkout Page:

Users can view their selected options on the checkout page, ensuring they confirm all choices before completing the order.

Order History Page:

Customers can view multiple selected option details in the order history page.
