How To Upload And Install The Add-on
After downloading the CS-Cart Customer Profile Page add-on, you’ll get the zip file, an install.txt file, and a relevant User Guide manual doc.
Read it carefully for proper configuration.
Go to Add-ons > Downloaded Add-ons, click the gear icon, and then select Manual Installation, as shown in the snapshot below.
Click on “Local” to browse the zip file and then click on “Upload & Install” as shown below in the snapshot.
The add-on will be installed successfully!
Add-on Configuration
After installing the add-on, click on it to open and configure the settings, as shown in the snapshot below.
As the add-on is multi-store compatible. So, in the add-on settings, either select the option to apply the changes to all the stores or simply select the store for which changes need to be made.
The setting fields include:
- Show Product Limit- Enter the number of recently purchased products to be shown on the customer profile preview page.
- Show Order Limit- Enter the number of recent orders to be shown on the customer profile preview page.
- Use Gravatar- Check the box to use Gravatar to get the profile picture from the World Wide Web if available.
- Contact URL- Enter the contact URL so that the customer can directly reach to contact store admin from their profile page. If this field is kept blank, the user will get redirected to the home page of your website.
- API Key- Enter the Google API keys to locate and display the customer’s address on the Google map.
So, just set the parameters and save.
Profile Page Layout
This add-on comes with a default layout for the customer profile page. To modify the layout, go to Website > Themes, and then click on Layouts, as shown in the snapshot below.
Go to the Profile Page tab, where you can view the layout blocks included in the add-on package. These five blocks come with five unique templates, namely:
- Profile page information
- Profile page logo
- Product details
- Profile page map
- Profile page order details
Note – You can alter the profile page as per your requirements.
Profile Page View
After logging in to the store, click the My profile tab under the My account section, as shown below.
Here’s the enhanced view of the customer’s profile page, where a customer can-
- Edit the profile details.
- View the contact information along with the address location on the Google map.
- Go to the Wishlist page from here.
- View the recently ordered product.
- View the recent orders.
- Go to the contact page as per the redirect URL set in the add-on settings.
Here’s the view of the edit profile page, where the customer can edit their profile details and save.
