CarieBoyd relied on WooCommerce for handling online orders and Salesforce for managing customer relationships and internal workflows. But the lack of integration between the two platforms caused:

The Requirement

CarieBoyd Pharmaceuticals outlined a set of advanced needs to streamline their operations, reduce manual work, and ensure compliance:

• We set up real-time sync between WooCommerce and Salesforce for customers,  price, and orders using bi-directional sync, so data updates instantly on both sides.
  
• But for products, the client only needed a one-way sync, from Salesforce to WooCommerce, to make sure product details like name, price, and stock are always updated in WooCommerce based on what’s in Salesforce. This setup keeps everything accurate without any extra manual work.
  
• Bi-directional sync with custom field mapping, based on a client-provided data sheet, ensuring tailored data handling.
• A revamped user flow for account and contact creation, customized to align with the client’s internal structure.
• Pre-existing data synchronization ensured the preservation of historical records without data loss.
• PriceBook syncs with dynamic pricing rules to maintain accurate and real-time product pricing across both platforms.
• Automated identification and segmentation of B2B and B2C customers for improved targeting and personalization.
• Duplicate prevention mechanisms, using intelligent email and account name matching to keep data clean and reliable.
• And finally, full compliance with industry standards, guaranteeing secure and accurate data processing across all operations.

The eShopSync Solution

After a detailed assessment, eShopSync implemented a fully customized version of our WooCommerce Salesforce Connector, engineered to meet CarieBoyd’s pharmaceutical-grade standards.

We configured the connector to support field-level mapping and two-way sync, strictly following the mapping sheet provided by the client. This ensured data consistency, both from WooCommerce to Salesforce and vice versa.

PriceBook & Pricing Rule Sync

To help CarieBoyd maintain real-time pricing accuracy across WooCommerce and Salesforce, we used Lightning Web Components (LWC) to build a custom solution that allows multiple PriceBooks to sync automatically based on different user roles and business needs. 

• As a result, each customer, whether an individual patient or a pharmacy partner, sees the correct price according to their specific profile.
• Furthermore, we connected the PriceBook sync to their dynamic pricing rules, ensuring that any changes in product pricing are instantly updated across both platforms.
• Thanks to this setup, CarieBoyd can now manage personalized pricing effortlessly, avoid manual updates, and significantly reduce the risk of pricing errors, all while saving valuable time and improving overall order accuracy.
