Rising environmental awareness among French customers have resulted in increased demand for eco-friendly and biodegradable cleaning products.

Online buying of household cleaning products in France has significantly increased with rise in increased internet penetration and use of smartphones.

Some of the most popular online stores selling household cleaning essentials include Amazon, Leclerc, Auchan, ManoMano, etc.

PrestaShop Subscription Products

PrestaShop Subscription Products module facilitates online store owners to create subscription-based products and services to increase recurring purchases on store.

Enable subscription on products and set frequency (weekly, monthly, yearly, etc) at which the customers need the products or services.

Due to busy schedule, customers nowadays do not prefer to go out to get the products they need on a daily basis. Instead, they expect them delivered regularly.

PrestaShop Stripe Recurring Payment Gateway allows online retailers to sell subscriptions on the store and accept recurring payments via Stripe payment gateway.

Create flexible subscription plans and assign products to them. Customers can subscribe to their favourite products and the subscription amount will be charged automatically via Stripe.

As lack of available payment options is one of the major reasons for shopping cart abandonment in eCommerce.

Swipe needed payment options that are secure, reliable, and manage recurring payments.

They decide to install our PrestaShop Stripe Recurring Payment Gateway module into their online store.

In addition to accepting online payments via major debit and credit cards, Stripe supports a variety of payment options including Alipay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, etc.

These payment options offer secure checkout as well as support recurring payments.

Custom Requirements of Client

Swipe had a few custom requirements for which they contacted us.

Customer Requirement # 1

They wanted their customers to be able to purchase normal products with a subscription product.

Based on client’s need, we added a feature according to which 2 order IDs will be created.

One order for normal products and one for subscription product. But the order reference number will be same and payment for all the products will be made together.

Customer Requirement # 2

Swipe wanted to give customers an option to change the renewal date.

Suppose a customer purchases a monthly subscription on 16th September which will renew automatically every 16th of every month.

However, if customers wish to update the renewal date before 16th October, they can change the date.

Our team understood the client’s requirements and successfully implement the changes in the module.
